  1. Oh Cute Without The E
  2. Okay, I feel like I've regressed to my 16 year old self posting a topic about TBS. But I've just read that two members have left the band (Matt & Matt) and John Nolan is rejoining. My head is slightly blown at the thought of this. I love John Nolan. I don't think TBS will ever top Where You Want To Be.

Oh good, I've dropped out of it.
  4. Nothing better than non-stop Stars. Part 2 is up. bmId-SDhfS4
  5. It's a good job I'm here to save the day then isn't it!
  6. :o Did you not know Ashford?
  7. I have nothing against gay people & nor do I wish to push my views onto them. People are allowed to live their life as they see fit. But apparently I am a "default" homophobe.
  8. Dandy, couldn't agree more. Ryan, you can die only after you've made sure I have the link.
  9. I'm simultaneously excited and sad for these to come. Seeming them in 3D will be awesome but once they're over, there really be nothing more to look forward to. The loss at the end of book 7 was almost numbed by the fact that there was still films to come. I need to re-read this world.
  10. Oh I love this thread. Okay, I haven't seen these films: Dr Strangelove (have no desire to), The Wackness (maybe... I'm not sure about the trailer), A Clockwork Orange (it looks bizarre and not something I'd enjoy), The Descent (horror films scare me a ridiculous amount, so much that it's hard to shut my eyes at night so I don't think I'll be watching that..), Milk (didn't watch the trailer and it didn't really appeal), Dazed & Confused (undecided as to what I think), Shortbus (it does look like a porno haha), Old Boy (again, undecided), Brokeback Mountain (this was brought for me a long time ago and I have still yet to see it...), The Dreamers (it looks quite interesting but the incest is weird. I guess that's what makes the film what it is!), Harold & Maude (okay, him kissing her freaked me right out so I'm not sure if I could ever watch it). I've seen Almost Famous (a while back though), 28 Days Later (and I really didn't like it so I never want to see it again), American Beauty (it's a good film but I never got the hype surrounding it), Kill Bill (I've seen bits of it, in between falling asleep. Seems pretty gross in parts), Up (it was good but I didn't cry or feel sad though the robot sat next to me did feel something so I guess individual choice. I saw it in 3D which was pretty awesome), Requiem for a Dream (I saw this when I was in Germany so didn't really understand much of it and it's not something that struck me as omg must see in English. Hmmm.), Eternal Sunshine (definitely one of my favourite films of all time. I just adore it!), Chicago (pretty good but I have to be in the mood for a musical), Spirited Away (I started watching it with Ryan and then fell asleep  It felt so surreal when I was drifting in and out of sleep and I had the oddest dreams. I wasn't overwhelmed with it but maybe I should give it another go). After this thread, I want to see A Single Man (the kinda movie I like!), Wendy & Lucy (I love all these tales of loss), Brick (I love murder mysteries and Joseph is ), The Diving Bell & The Butterfly (I've been meaning to see this for a while), Children of Men (the 3rd Potter film has always been my favourite & this looks really interesting). I think I shall have to buy them now!
  11. I know some people are fans, I guess they just didn't get around to replying. I'm so excited. I want them to tour!

    NE @ 6. Oops.
  15. I really love Tegan & Sara. Alligator is a good song & Sainthood is a good album, but you can't beat The Con as mentioned earlier. I have listened to The Con a ridiculous amount of times. I think I love the demo version of the album more than the polished version.
  16. :o When did you go to Oz?
  17. Of course it will be. I've had enough rain and snow to last me a lifetime.
  18. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b291/misscazzle/73521955.jpg New album out on June 22nd. I am so excited for this. It's a follow up to their 2007 album "In Our Bedroom After The War" & their 2008 EP "Sad Robots" which were both so so good. Aside from featuring the usual five members of Stars on this album, there is also a special guest in the form of Andrew Whiteman of Broken Social Scene. The tracklisting is as follows: 01 Dead Hearts 02 Wasted Daylight 03 I Died So I Could Haunt You 04 Fixed 05 We Don't Want Your Body 06 He Dreams He's Awake 07 Never Been Good With Change 08 The Passenger 09 The Last Song Ever Written 10 How Much More 11 Winter Bones The making of The Five Ghosts, Part One. moRA6NwXzHE And a pretty good live version of Dead Hearts, which I already adore. If anyone wants an mp3 of this live version, give me a shout. rE-UKhVtv3k I could say it but you wont believe me // You say you do but you don't deceive me // It's hard to know they're out there // It's hard to know that you still care
  19. Let's all quit our jobs and run away to my little idealistic island where we're all equal and get to chillax on a beach.
  20. It wasn't awful but sometimes I need a good rant. Especially when people p*** me off. My workers don't even get stressed out! They just sit about pretending they have all the time in the world. Sure, the job is boring but you aren't helping yourself by looking at loan companies ALL DAY LONG. How to p*** me off: do NOTHING. Gawd. I'm gunna start wishing they had long term sick at this rate just so I can have some decent staff. I've been here 3 years which is so unbelievably scary. Was only meant to stay 4 months
  21. Oh yes. Team Jacob. Is he played by that Taylor dude? Haha I'm sure it's funny.
  22. God don't get me started. Working for Local Government, absolutely NOTHING gets done. Management sit around pondering what to do about the next staffing crisis or the fact they have to cut £45 million from the budget over the next 3 years while the real work gets left behind. We're stuck in endless meetings to discuss how we can "help the customer" when all they want is us to answer the phone. Aside from that, I work with the most amazing group of people in our office and get on with all of them so collections don't bother me. Happy to give a few quid or more. I wear jeans to work pretty much every day because I'm lazy. Meh who cares. The thing that frustrates me most is people who don't pull their weight. Do not sit around on the internet all day, or day dreaming, when you should be working because I'm going to kick you in the arse. (Well, I'm not allowed apparently which is another BAD thing about LG. No discipline whatsoever. The council has no backbone.) I just want to shake them. LOOK, IT'D BE BETTER IF YOU JUST SHUT UP AND DID YOUR WORK THEN LIFE WILL GO QUICKER. No one ever does things to my standard :( So I end up doing it myself. & I'm paid $h!t for the amount of stuff I have to do and I just want to leave. I just want out now. New Zealand next year please. 2 year working holiday visa. I can't stand watching my life boil down to this. And breathe.
  23. Werewolfs are a little more bearable but still no. Pattinson is the vampire, right? I saw a good FB page today called "Bring back Heath Ledger and we'll give you Robert Pattinson". I lol'd. And someone posted it in my FB feed. Boy did I regret clicking play!
  24. Mostly I'm stubborn so once I decide not to do something, I won't. Vampires aren't my cup of tea. & to post that ridiculous reaction video.

I love Grey's  Though I much preferred it when Mer was all dark and twisty. Mark & Lexie need to sort it out already! I hope I'm not spoiling anything, I'm US pace.
