  1. oh weird a new song. better choice than i bruise easily most probs, i would have thought single might do well there tho?
  2. at least they have musical value. mad world is achingly beautiful...i know dido is kinda bland, i just like the song
  3. i loved DB instantly...only shakira song i can say that for
  4. i havent got FO or OF2, but i LOVE la tortura, HDL is great and DB is fantastic too and i love LS...but ive heard Timor and despite the political message its just such $h!t, and the day and the time is a really dull lifeless ballad...ive not heard anything else, will i like the album
  5. as long as ultrabeat or god forbid xtm (my stomach is churning thinking about it) dont go thru i dont care that much tho lol
  6. i LOVE 2003! hope this list is good, but i doubt it somehow lol...well there are 19 songs i dont dislike, better than some years and there are some REALLY good songs on the list numbers indicate PREFERENCE ORDER, NOT points 1. Gary Jules – Mad World (4) 2. Dido – White Flag (12) 3. Libertines - Don't Look Back Into The Sun 4. No Doubt - It's My Life (it isnt no1!!! but then its not one of their best really) 5. Black Eyed Peas – Shut Up (20) 6. White Stripes - Seven Nation Army 7. Beyonce ft Jay-Z – Crazy In Love (15) 8. Fatman Scoop – Be Faithful (19) (this is so hard, i love this song, i thought it'd be in my top 5) 9. Justin Timberlake – Cry Me A River 10. Christina Aguilera – Beautiful (this is so good too...) 11. Kelly Rowland – Stole 12. Delta Goodrem – Born To Try (I REALLY wanted to put this higher, if it were innocent eyes or maybe even LWY it would have come way higher but there are so many good songs) 13. Junior Senior – Move Your Feet (16) 14. Jamelia – Superstar 15. TATU – All The Things She Said (6) 16. Black Eyed Peas & Justin Timberlake – Where Is The Love? (1) 17. Blu Cantrell ft Sean Paul – Breathe (8) 18. Busta Rhymes & Mariah Carey – I Know What You Want 19. Sugababes - Hole in the Head
  7. yay for shakira! hope dirrty goes thru!
  8. i love dont bother -_- and 2 weeks earlier its sales would have sent it to no3/4
  9. i really didnt when i first heard it, i thought it was a too slow and dull la tortura rip off, and whilst obviously it isnt as good as LT it has grown on me so much, now i love it
  10. what was la torturas hot 100 chart run
  11. ive seen it on video channels, as have other ppl, and its on yahoo launch uk site...has it been released to radio? with 5-6 weeks heavy promo and a may release it will easily go top 3, fingers crossed for no1! when is OF2+HDL being released (ive not bought the album as im waitin for the reissue)
  12. objection is one of the weakest songs on laundry service, cant believe it was a single, i skip past it. its only better than ready for the good times :puke2:
  13. its really good but not one of her best
  14. i think it will go top 5 on the billboard, ****ing awesome tune just keeps growing on u. nt as good as la tortura tho
  15. is that the hot 100 or smt else? its great either way
  16. I dont know why, but that song just really gets me, its such a great catchy song with a great vibe to it, a cool video, i really enjoy it; crazy chick was a good song and call my name was decent (Didnt like even god much) so i was wondering if anyone can tell me if the albums any good...obv she has a good voice but i dont want to buy a MOR pop record
  17. YOU ARE PUTTING COOL BUT NOT HOLLABACK GIRL ON THE 2005 GAME?????????? NOOOOOOOOOOO hollaback girl was way more succesful, far superior, anthemic, the song she'll be remembered for as a solo artist, a huge no1 in the US, massive worldwide, responsible for around 1/2 of LAMB's sales here and its so much more distinctive, cool is rather bland if a good song. but point taken otherwise...obviously i am biased
  18. i would also like to point out the GLARING OMISSION OF ANY NO DOUBT SONGS from this list. okay it wasnt the best music they ever created but 2002 was a big year for them, hey baby (which admittedly isnt amazing) was a huge no2 hit and widely played in clubs etc; hella good whilst only making no12 was massively popular universally and got huge airplay and videoplay - i still see/hear it around today; underneath it all, whilst only no18 and not hugely played is an absolutely amazing song. surely one of them deserved to be on this list over some of the c**p dance and tenacious d's non hit
  19. to be fair, nothing good ever or hardly ever does well on that ridiculous record of the year show which westlife (who u have to admit are one of the absolute worst acts around and it is beyond me how they can keep selling rehashes of the same song) almost always win... and as for coldplay, normally i hate their boring indie-power ballad westlife with guitars and pained expressions crap but theres something about in my place and yellow (which do, to be honest sound almost exactly the same) which i really like...i like fix you too...but i think speed of sound and clocks are two of the worst songs in a very long time tho i dont think in my place is great, the pickings on that list are so slim thats why it came in my top 5
  20. i know theres already been an arguement about it but someone explain to me how you could like colourblind? its awful. and it really does make a farce of it when tone deaf fans just vote for the record and noone else actually does and yet it will score highly...but thats democracy
  21. no way! come on over... (lady marmalade to go after that, dirrty/TYHB/voice within/Genie  - all amazin songs to win!)
  22. no, but it might do alright over here tbh, ppl like bland ballads...or it could just ruin her reputation for honest, emotive, cut-above-the-average ballads
  23. underneath_it_all posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
^ most of her songs climbed to no1, its glad to see delta doing well again but this is easily the worst song shes ever done, its awful, even the dance version of here i am and love are better than this
  24. nobody wants to be lonely
