#10 on UK iTunes (Rudimental and will.i.am's new songs have pushed all songs in top 10 down two spots pretty much). The Ding Dong track is now starting to slide, hopefully it'll dive out of the top 10 ASAP to push the girls back to #9 and give them a better chance to get one last week top 10 come next Sunday, to give them five weeks overall. Hopefully! Not confident of it happening but surely that Ding Dong track will continue to slide quickly so fingers crossed! The girls' chart run so far is fairly similar to Little Mix's with Wings funnily enough. They were 1-4-4-7 (I think!), so far The Sats have done 1-3-4-8-?

We're #7 in the midweeks today. :) 1 Duke Dumont 2 Pink/Nate Ruess 3 Bastille 4 Nelly 5 Justin Timberlake 6 Pitbull 7 The Saturdays Bastille's multiple versions really helping them! :o Add in the Judy Garland track above them on iTunes currently (unless it suddenly falls at quick speed now) and they'll be #8 on Sunday. I'm okay with that but hopefully they only have a small slide to #10 next week to give them their longest stay in the top 10... probably unlikely but hopeful!

vivek can you see into the future? Haha, they're back to #7 on iTunes over Pompeii. :) Now hopefully they can take down Mirrors!

Hopefully they only fall to #10 next week with the new releases from Rudimental and Bieber/Will.I.Am? Argh, I hope it literally glues itself to #8-#10 from now until next Sunday. :P Just one more week after this one to give them their longest run in the top 10! That's all I want, along with then being a mainstay for a while in the top 20.

I hope Ding Dong will wear off come Friday but like you say, Bastille were ahead combined anyway. How many new releases are there next week? will.i.am and Bieber... who else? Looks like we might have to settle for them tying with Issues for most weeks in the top 10 then, still happy with that but one more week would be amazing, giving them over a month in the top 10.

Actually quite disgusted and ashamed to be honest. Fair enough people didn't like or agree with Thatcher's views or actions, but the majority of people - of course not all people will be downloading the song down to her, granted - downloading that song are celebrating a death in effect... there's a family grieving for her. How would they feel if people were almost celebrating their own mother's or grandmother's death by downloading this song and revelling in her passing? Some people really are dirt and have no class. It's embarrassing that people think this is a just way to behave and treat the death of an 87 year old lady as a celebration because she had different beliefs and a different outlook. It's kinda twisted and vile if this is labelled and passed off as humour and a laugh. It says more about the people doing the FB campaigns to get this song higher than it does Thatcher herself at the moment. They're quick to label her evil, but they're just as bad now. The message behind the song is horrible. I don't see why people would stoop so low for a 'joke'.

Like already stated, all the top 10 apart from #1 have taken a dive! :) Let's not make out it's just The Sats (granted, it's a dip but of course they're going to level off). It was a lower sales week than the past few weeks and the whole Now! situation probably had a part to play with that as vivek said. Some people really are never satisfied lol. This is a bonafide hit, they're almost at 230k in three weeks, they get a #1 and are proving to have staying power in the top 10 which was being demanded to happen beforehand, they are doing exactly that now and you still complain and moan and make it out to be a disappointment. You can't expect them to sell around 50k+ each week, it's The Saturdays after all. Stop raising expectations, just enjoy how well they're doing right now instead of analysing negatively all the time and trying to make it all out to be a disappointment whenever possible. It's a little annoying now.

Yay to #4! Queens. Amazing run. 3 weeks top five. :wub: And hopefully Duke Dumont didn't sell more than them just so they can keep hold of the fastest selling record for another week (or longer). :P

It's supposedly out on the 14th... last I read, they pushed it back to the week before album release.

Friday midweek chart update is in: 1 Duke Dumont 2 P!nk/Nate Ruess 3 PJ and Duncan 4 Justin Timberlake 5 The Saturdays PJ & Duncan still #3? So looks like the girls will be #4 or #5 then, with around 40k? PJ & Duncan are #9 on iTunes so surely they'll be at the bottom end of the top 5 come Sunday, around #5 or just outside at #6, pushing the girls up a spot? I'd be okay with #5 but of course prefer #4 this week. :P I just want them to stay top 10 for 5 weeks to better Issues' record of 4 weeks and keep sales ticking over nicely - hopefully reach 300k+ before leaving top 10... 5 is a nice round number but of course I wouldn't complain if they were there for longer haha.
