If it's not released until Jan in both UK and US (which the mailer seems to suggest) why are they hyping it and talking about it now? Oh dear, it's just gonna be the same mistakes again isn't it haha? I know we've all been impatient for news/confirmation on the single but yeah... January is 4/5 months away. :mellow: Hmm. I hope they know what they're doing... It'd be nice if in the promo pics of their new image they could somehow bring their names into the pics or something, not sure how but anything to get people knowing the girls names and identifying them etc.. make each girl stand out with something they can be identified by... could help people instead of saying 'my fave is the blonde one' etc etc. :P

Time for the thread title to change then since What About Us is confirmed. :D Ooh, the girls are attending the VMAs and doing the red carpet apparently!! AMAZING. Then they're performing at Perez Hilton's VMA aftershow party with Rita Ora also playing among others. We have no news for ages and then it all comes at once.. I can't cope. So excited for them. :D I love the first promo pictures for their new look/new era too... the colour is back! And they all look individual which is good but it all works together. Well, I like it bar Una's wonky tiara. :P

Haha, that's my problem too! People have said it's good and we needn't worry, someone else said it's very good... then Frankie tweets how it might just be their best song... (2ndAdventure, is Frankie right? :P) I hope it is but I don't wanna get carried away like I did with them hyping up 30 Days and ending up being a bit disappointed by it.

^ Are there more pics? What site did you get that from? :) I think it'll look a bit weird with Una, Roch and Frankie in similar outfits (denim shorts and converse) and then Mollie and Ness in completely different outfits from the pap pics..

Kinda itching for some sort of news/teasers about the single now they've started talking about it a little bit. I really hope Frankie means it when she says it could be their best song, they really need to start killing it in all areas now there's a plethora of girlbands coming on the scene.

Ha one of the comments in that list - 'Just wish they would disappear'... wtf haha, you don't have to click every news item about them, listen to their songs or follow them. You can choose to 'ignore' them. That comment doesn't make sense, what an idiot lol.

I've never really paid attention to her or been interested in her, nor really listened to her music, but this is amazing! I'm looking forward to the rest of the album now... think she may have a new fan haha.

It was pretty awful... I only carried on watching for Una but think I'll give the rest of the shows a miss now.. It all looked so amateur, especially the camera work and the set, and tbh, the whole show itself. The show won't do well ratings/popularity/interest wise at all so it won't 'help' in any way whatsoever. Now I agree Jay was right - that this all did seem a bit of a waste of time, even if it was all filmed back in June when they had nothing going on lol. Una namedropping Ben was a bit cringey too hahaha.. ah well, she looked great, and some of her comments weren't too bad? Only positives I could think of... :thinking: Hopefully this whole thing will be forgotten about in a few months time... :P

July now so maybe we'll get some info soon! Obviously this Wiki page was all bull, but anyway! Also.. is it silly to worry that I think Little Mix are about to put The Sats to shame in all aspects? Just heard their single 'Wings'... it's quite good... worry they're gonna make The Sats look like bigger 'flops' than they already are! :mellow: The girls need to head over to the US and release Higher before Little Mix beat them to it because I could see Wings and the girls themselves being big over there lol. I like both groups but yeah.. I'm just hating the fact there will be constant put downs flying between fanbases who can't see it's okay to like both groups haha, and then people constantly comparing both groups all the time, whether that be with sales or styling or the music itself. The only interest the The Saturdays generate in the media/press are to do with their personal lives and their fashion.. mind you, at least they're starting to be singled out/known more individually now when before people wouldn't really have a clue who they all were apart from Frankie.

That isn't Una's actual dress - that picture is from a photoshoot she did with OK Magazine. :) But The Sats look so beautiful in their bridesmaids dresses! I love how close they are. Can't wait to see a group shot of all five of them together all smiles in their dresses! Hope Ben and Una are having a lovely day and night with their family and friends today. Congrats to Benuna! :D

Why? :unsure: It's not like it's live shows - it's all pre-recorded for three nights on the trot, all the shows were filmed over a few days in mid June, when they've (The Sats) had nothing going on! It's not like she's going to be doing this for months on end every Saturday night like XF or something, it won't interfere with future plans..

Well, Freddie and Rio make sense since it's a sports and entertainment show and they're pretty popular.. Martine is a funny choice as is Una I guess but like you say I'll be watching for her. It starts on Thursday 5th I think on ITV1, right?

I wonder when we'll get some info on the new single. Maybe end of this month/early July? Of course it depends on when they're releasing it though but I'm guessing an August release since that would be 3 months since 30 Days in May and the usual gap time between their singles.

Yeah I agree, I don't think their fortunes are ever going to change sadly. I think they'll call it quits in the middle or near the end of next year after the new album, perhaps they'll make it to 2014 with a greatest hits album/tour and then go their own ways. People really don't care for them much anymore.. they've lost pretty much all interest in them generally. I'm just happy to be getting new music/one more album potentially from them until it comes. I do hope with this era they at least pick the right singles in the right order for once though.

Off topic, but wasn't sure where to post... but Get Ready, Get Set really should have been a single! It's brilliant. Especially played loud! I really think it would have been their 'massive' hit at last. And it sounds weird, but I could hear the instrumental being used on all the olympics and Euros 2012 programmes over the summer and stuff like that, the title of the song is quite fitting too. :P I think I'd have gone for Notorious, All Fired Up, White Lies, Get Ready Get Set as singles. But yes, I'm a little bored of 30 Days now. Was never that big on it to start with, I already want the next single, too impatient. :blush:

Think the girls might be going to the Glamour Awards tonight, the girls' PR (Supersonic) tweeted a pic of 5 Glamour Award invites, I'm guessing they're for the Sats, but maybe not! Maybe I've assumed and put 2+2 together and got 5. Lol. Frankie was a cover girl for the May issue so surely they'll be there? I dunno! Hopefully they win for the second year running though. Alhough Little Mix will probs win it this year.. maybe it's just the winners that get invited to the actual awards night, since The Sats haven't said anything about going. EDIT: They're not there... Rochelle tweeted she's out for dinner with friends. Boo!

Rochelle would be overall IMO. Mollie would be the cute, funny and nice judge that everyone would fall in love with like Cheryl. I'd love to see them get a guest judge slot even, and they have been rumoured along with some of the names that have been rumoured/confirmed but doubtful. Geri did Liverpool, Leona in London yesterday, Rita Ora tomorrow for London... and Tinie Tempah, Mel B and Nicole Scherzinger are rumoured for some too.

Oh lord... I want them to just do pure pop. I'm not even big on that song either! Arrrrgh!

Off topic but The XF judge rumours are starting to spread now on various media sites (Digital Spy, MTV etc), and on Twitter. Celebrity Gossip. ‏@CelebNewsHQ Geri & Mel B (Spice Girls) Frankie & Rochelle (The Saturdays) and Alesha Dixon are all in the frame to replace Kelly Rowland on @TheXFactor Isn't Mel B in Australia judging on the Australian XF? I like Frankie but I think Rochelle would be a much better judge. She'd be more vocal, fiesty and opinionated but still fun and sweet. These rumours are probably just that - rumour but Rochelle would be perfect. Plus she, like Frankie, has plenty of knowledge and experience in the industry what with S Club Juniors and all their success before The Saturdays. They're current and relevant, recieve a fair bit of press and publicity.. much more than Geri and Mel B currently but I know it's obvious why they're in the frame too. Plus I just wanna see Rochelle looking fierce in amazing dresses, walking out from behind the screens every Saturday night for months on end. :P Someone should bombard Rochelle with tweets asking if there's any truth in the rumours! :P Anyway, I'm already wanting to hear the next single, I was never really invested in 30 Days as a track itself. Pleased it's done moderately well for them but yeah, next, please!

Maybe the next single will be the one to finally do it....! (We say this every time hahaha, yeah right!) :P If they ever hit #1, I will never be more happier than the time they finally do it and see them celebrate! Far too long awaited and deserved. Still, #7 is decent, fills a new spot in them hitting top 10, better than I expected. Hopefully the drop won't be too bad and the sales too. Hmm.
