Imagine the Queen in the Christmas message... 'One is all fired up and feeling alive this festive season. Merry Christmas people of Britain'. So.. Radio 1 are having Mollie, Rochelle and Frankie in Monday afternoon for an interview on the Nick Grimshaw show... be interesting to see if they ask Mollie about the relationship rumours. Management/Mollie herself may put a block on the big question and ask them not to ask questions about them dating? She may not want to be asked and have to think up a response, especially if it is true. Of course, they might not ban them asking her but it wouldn't surprise me if they don't ask her about the rumours. I did think it could be true and that they are dating, but I'm not sure now.. although it is weird she's keeping so suspiciously quiet about it all, and Una's grin when the paps asked Mollie the other day and her carrying on acting like there are no rumours surrounding them both but we'll see. I hope it's true and I'll be a bit disappointed if it isn't, they'd make a perfect couple. :P

They've been on Good Morning America, E Entertainment and The Today Show too, plus some others! And big Australian morning shows have reported the story too, Sunrise I think it's called. I really hope it's true, not just for it maybe helping them but because they'd be a cute couple! I'm so hung up on these rumours, they have to be true... hurry up and go public. (Of course, if they are true) :P Mollie + Harry = Marry. It's meant to be! Ha.

So now Jessie J's climbing up the chart already with LaserLight, plus it's already on her album... there's no real competition during the release week now is there...? Obviously they'll have to compete with all the releases that have been out before them that'll still be sitting strong but maybe they have picked a decent week now for once :P

Still no denial with the Mollie/Harry relationship rumours, and Mollie was asked by paps yesterday about the rumours and she ignored the question... but Una smiled... and she's been quiet on Twitter/ignored all the tweets asking if it's true, and hasn't commented whatsoever on the rumours. :P She's been lurking though because she blocked some girls sending her abuse over the rumours... and apparently the two of them were seen in Mayfair yesterday. I hope it's true, they'd be really cute. If it is true, I'm guessing they don't want to confirm it yet or go public because the press would hound them for weeks.. imagine Princess Mollie... the new nations sweetheart. :P Both The Sats' PR/reps and the representatives for the Royal Family have declined to comment... usually they'd deny it straight away, right? At least the Royal Family reps would if it wasn't true? That must only fuel there being some truth to it all. To me, anyway. But then again.. if it is true why wouldn't they go public now it's being reported everywhere? Is it wrong I also kinda want them together as it might (probably won't) help The Sats? :blush: I only say so because American blog sites, radio and TV are picking the story up since it came out yesterday... Good Morning America, Today Show etc have all been running the story over there today. But yes, that was off topic... good to see decent TV airplay... I'll worry about radio if airplay doesn't improve and they aren't added to playlists next week.

Yeah, I've barely heard it on radio either. I've heard 'Mollie King from The Saturdays and Prince Harry are reportedly in a relationship' etc on the radio today more times than I have the single since the premiere haha.

Hmm, sorry.. this is random so apologies.. but I think some people here use Popjustice and are signed up on there right? Can anyone actually get on the site? I know it had a new layout change yesterday but people seem to be able to register and use the site like normal, but my browser won't even load the site up itself? Just keeps saying 'IE can't display this webpage' everytime I type the URL in or click a link to the site etc etc...? Other people seem to be able to get on the site fine, but I can't even message Peter (Mr Popjustice haha) or tell them there's a problem, grr... anyone else have the same thing? :(

I quite like the video. Nice and fun and they look really natural, some of it looks a bit cheap but it isn't that bad. It looks as cheap as the Higher video, and I don't think that's cheap at all soo (apart from the shot of the block of flats and traffic lights(?) before the girls sit down at the bench for Frankie's line), yes, me gusta! :) Agree that it doesn't go with the song though. Looking forward to seeing it in HQ rather than just a fan recording. Maybe this is a low budget as they're saving for the next single - wishful thinking. :P Video on their YouTube now in HQ:

Noo, I'm not comparing them at all... I'm just saying and wondered that if the Origibabes go on to have big success which they probably will, then what do Polydor/Universal need The Sats for if they still aren't selling well and making much money for the label if the label keep putting money into them but not seeing much of a return? And like you say, there's a variety of acts on Polydor and The Sats are still there so what do I know. :P I'm not comparing them - you're right, they're completely different in almost every aspect but if they focus more on the original Sugababes and they spend a big budget on them and they get much more of a return with them than they do with The Sats, then there wouldn't be much point wasting money and keeping them on, no? But like I say in my first post, it just made me wonder and when I read the article and thought I'd post. I hope I'm not some pyschic and this comes true either haha. But back to the single - sounds weird, but I don't think this is 'cool' enough a dance/pop track to appeal to a wider, mass audience to have big success. But I really want to be proven wrong! I can never remember how it goes after I've finished listening to it either and that's the first time ever with one of their songs - I don't think the chorus is that distinctive, it just all blends in? Are the rumours about the video premiering on Tuesday true does anyone know?

Off topic but The Sats are on Polydor/Universal aren't they? It's being reported they've signed the original Sugababes to their label in a £1million deal (that's if this isn't an April Fools joke :P).. I wonder if the label might ditch The Sats now if things don't improve drastically, especially now they've another girl group signed to them, who will more than likely do well? But I guess as long as The Sats/Sugababes make them money it won't matter? I'm clueless with the buisnessy label side of stuff so I'll shutup, it's probably just a silly thought but it crossed my mind this morning and just made me think and thought I'd post.. :blush:

Me neither. It's okay, it's a bit of a grower but I'm still not taken completely with it. And you can bet on anything that the Xenomania tracks they recorded in January are better than this most likely. And if they are, I'll scream! Especially if they had for more potential success wise than this will, because this won't do much for them at all or get non-fans onboard and sell the re-release. :mellow: But I hope I'm surprised and it does.

Me too. They're superior to 30 Days, but I guess their team didn't wanna put a single from OYR out becasue they thought the core fanbase wouldn't bother buying it since they had it on the album. They should stick with Xenomania for the more dancier/clubby stuff as seen with Get Ready Get Set and All Fired Up. I'd like them to go back to pure pop now. Still, positive thinking and praying this will do well from now on. :P Haha.

Snap.. it's good, it's not as pop as I was expecting it to be, it's more dancey/club ready. This is the first Sats single where I've not instantly liked/loved it. :( I thought it'd be a Up/Higher/Ego type full on pop track the way they described it. Probably a grower but I can't see this converting non fans or those who are indifferent to them, and neither can I see it help at all in selling the re-release ... :mellow: Reaction mostly seems to be positive on the likes of Twitter etc, but a few people are saying they're indifferent to it, sounds like an OYR leftover, lacks oomph and pales, not as good as Notorious/All Fired Up etc etc. It sounds a bit dull.. I'd go some way to agreeing with them tbh, I feel a bit indifferent to it, it feels a bit too short too. It feels like a step back compared to All Fired Up production wise, but if it does well for them then I'm all for it. Hopefully I'll love it after some more listens but I'm horribly nervous as to how this will do - not just in the first week, but the weeks after too. Should hopefully put them back in the top 10 (won't be going anywhere near #1 with the other competition) but it's sales that they need too.. :huh: I hope they've not picked the wrong 'lead' single again and there's better tracks they've done for the re-release. In some parts it sounds like a mix of Faster and White Lies, and also Alexis Jordan-y at some points too. They have to promote this like there's no tomorrow, no sitting around off on holidays. Here, there and everywhere on anything they can get if they want this to be the hit they need. BGT would be good but I doubt they'll even be considered for a slot there. :P I hope radio take to this and plug it like crazy too..

Must definitely be an OYR re-release now then. Single out May 13.

Lord this campaign hasn't even started and it already feels like a mess. They have to get this right... nobody knows about this single other than the mailer/hardcore fanbase and they haven't even used their Facebook or Twitter or anything to promote the first radio play of it (which is now tomorrow thanks to a tweet not from them but from a radio station!), nor a single cover, nor a release date.. nor anything. There's barely no hype or interest outside of the die hard fans and it's like they're not even trying to get any interest.. and the premiere is tomorrow AM...?! Jeez they can never do anything right.. I'm even more worried about radio support now if the big radio stations won't premiere it.. ffs. We wouldn't even know about a premiere if Lincs FM had never tweeted about it!? I hope this doesn't mean the major stations will ignore them now.. Ignore me haha I'm just fretting and overanalysing, I just want this to all go well for once. The Sats camp haven't mentioned anything. Radio 1 premiered all 3 singles from On Your Radar and now a regional radio that won't have as big a scale of listeners in Lincoln is premiering it? I'm worried now, lol. Although I'm looking forward to hearing it at long last, I want this to do well because they need it to. Hmm.

Hmm when are we getting the artwork and info? Mailer said this week.. probs tomorrow, right at the end of the week haha. Or they've forgotten :P I know they can't help it that they filmed the video in Feb to acommodate Una and the baby, but this feels really dragged out.. tired of waiting.
