I'm really surprised Missing You is their 'peak'. I wasn't keen on it at the time. But yes, let's hope they go batshit crazy with the promo. They need to. I hope this is the week we'll have the artwork and release date confirmed. I'm guessing so. And maybe even the first listen to the track itself!

Hope the May release schedule isn't too packed with big releases! Hope they've checked and there isn't much competition in their release week like the ones they usually pick, would be nice to have a chance at top spot potentially. 29th April would have been too perfect a release week to be true, really haha. I wish it was released then - quiet week, and it fits with the song title of 30 Days - released on the 30th day of April (almost :P). Thinking early May release then if we're getting everything this week..?

Tulisa - We Are Young? That's out the week after, 6th May. They better not have pushed it back to that week ha. I'm sure Rochelle or Vanessa wouldn't like that either since they're close friends with Tulisa. Where even did the 29th April rumour come from? I sure hope it's true. EDIT: Oh, sorry.. you meant the fun. ft Janelle Monae track haha. I thought you'd made a typo and since Tulisa's singles the same title, well it's changed to Young now so I put 2+2 together and got 5. :P Sorry!

That would be a perfect release week, so I hope it's true but of course The Sats team will most probably have chosen a week where there's like, 3 other major releases. Ugh.

I hope so! I just worry that outside the hardcore fans noone will know they've a new single coming out so soon. I guess I'm just more nervy after My Heart Takes Over and want them back in the top 10/top 5/top 3/top 2/#1 competitors again.

^ Yup, Una tweeted a while back she was in the studio with Nerina and her husband (I think he's a producer..?) back in early Feb I think. Off topic but relevant to my point haha, Tulisa is premiering her new single and the video too today which isn't out until the first or second week of May.. why aren't The Sats management setting the wheels in motion and premiering this before leaving it too late? I mean, I know Tulisa getting the first play of her single and puting the video up today could be a PR move while she's headlines in the press and more than a coincidence etc after the whole sex tape thing this week but still.. maybe management have changed the release date for 30 Days.. or maybe 29th April was never the planned release lol..? Definitely must be next week we hear this to allow interest outside the fans to build, right? Yup! Still don't know. They've worked with a few people since January.. Nerina Pallot, Xenomania, Arkana(?), Steve Mac etc so it'll be interesting to find out finally what it's for. Anyway, so I'm guessing we're not hearing this at all this week...? It must be next week surely, they have to start building hype and interest from all corners?! End of March next week.. just over 4 weeks til it's out (supposedly if April 29th release still stands) - premiere the song at the start or middle of next week maybe, then like aprilj said above, premiere the video at the end of the week or on the 31st or something, 30 Days before it's officially out :P

I like that idea, having the video up before release for 30 days from March 21st! They seriously need to get a shift on and premiere it, ideally this week. Leaving it another week or two will most likely do them more harm than good, in that only the hardcore fanbase will know the song is coming and could maybe limit them climbing airplay/video charts!? Getting the song premiered now allows the wider public to know they're releasing too without getting it out there too early that people will just get bored of it.

Still no info on whether it's a re-release or new album etc. Probs find out more once the single is premiered and a press release is sent out maybe.

More info must be coming this week...? 5 weeks left (5 weeks and 6 days left if we're being concrete - if the rumoured 29th April release is true) which would be perfect timing this week for building hype and sorting/having a radio premiere, video release, single cover, confirmation etc. I hope they build it up and don't just randomly tweet the video etc like they did with My Heart Takes Over haha, springing it on everyone randomly. Getting more info out there now means it's not too early a premiere that people will tire of the song and not bother with it come release time, but not too late that the wider general public who aren't huge fans won't even know they've a new single coming. I mean, they've only confirmed the title for the song in the mailer - surely they should get it out there to the people who aren't hardcore fans and aren't signed up for the mailer?

Second Chances Don't Always Happen to me sounds like a cringey song title, like it belongs on a soundtrack CD from a new High School Musical movie or something haha. This must be fake? Maybe someone just went on iTunes, changed a few song names on their iTunes and tacked them on the end to make it look real...

Still no info... bored of waiting now. Shouldn't they start getting a move on if it's out in April... they can't just throw this out without building interest, they're not big enough. Part of this is of course my impatience in wanting to hear this :P I know they won't want to get it out there too soon and have people get bored of it quickly but it's nearly the middle of March and if it's out in April... they need to start getting some kind of info out there to pick up hype and generate wider interest for it on radio, the video channels and generally too. Pick up some buzz girls! Depending when in April it's released, they've got maximum, what, 5-6 weeks(?) left to make sure everyone knows this song is coming (not just their twitter followers!), so hopefully something will come this week seeing as that's when usually they premiere their new singles if I remember? I know sometimes a little earlier - like with All Fired Up, that premiered mid July and wasn't out until early September. Hurry up guys! They can't afford any mistakes or slip ups with this single campaign. It needs to be perfected, planned and everything go smoothly. They need to go hard with the promo. But this is The Saturdays and their maangement we're talking about. :( I want a single campaign we can look back on as flawless and say they managed everything perfectly and got everything right for once. And the song needs to be straight up pop, bloody brilliant and fun. Something huge that screams mass appeal. Oh and an excellent video. Praying this gives them the hit they need (a #1 would be nice too haha, quiet release week please!) Maybe this is the song they'll be launching with in the US too.

I've really got back into Higher again recently, it still sounds really fresh for me. Cheered me up this week after a few rubbish weeks, proper uplifting track. :D And All Fired Up.. still being played to death on my iTunes, I love everything about it. The intro and the instrumental behind the vocals 'blow my mind' haha. :P Xenomania slay.

They need tons of promo for this single. Not just literally one Daybreak performance with one member down like with My Heart Takes Over. They need to go mad to secure this hit they need badly. I'm nervous though. Really excited, but really nervous about how it's going to go. Other than that, bring it on. :D

So after this single campaign is done, are they then off to America to start work?

Take with a pinch of salt, but apparently the girls' new single is called 30 Days... or 30 Days (To Love). Saw on Twitter. I hope the song title is good.. something different and 'quirky' haha, as much as I hate that word. Hopefully we'll get that if it turns out the single is Xenomania produced, which it seems to be since they're the only people they recently recorded with? They need to do lots more songs with them. Sooo excited to hear it, but at the same time I'm really nervous about it all... hopefully radio don't ditch them...! Maybe they'll do a Radio 1 premiere and then the video a week or few days after in March.
