On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Ha, so you're ditching The Sats not because of their music, but because of a charting position? Bye then! :D I'm sure Little Mix are gonna be overjoyed to have a 'fan' like you.

The Saturdays Arena Tour
Mollie said there are four sections to the show, and an Xmas section too. Wonder how they'll split the show into these four sections, seems like each section will have a theme to it I guess?

Pixie Lott - Young Foolish Happy
Looks set to fall out of the top 40 this week. In the most recent midweek it was down to #40 from #18 so unless it's managed to cling on then it's a dire chart run for Pixie.

I really don't know how the hell they're gonna get themselves out of this one.

The Saturdays should release a Christmas album
I wouldn't mind that, to be honest. :)

The Saturdays Arena Tour
I hope it is! :D And I hope the costumes are much better and more 'glam' haha, the Headlines tour costumes looked a bit tacky and looked like they'd just run round Topshop picking up anything they had. I thought so anyway. What would your best setlist be? :)

The Saturdays Arena Tour
One week until the tour kicks off in Bournemouth! :D Really hope they go all out and it's a step up from the Headlines tour.

Down to #20 today so will probably miss the top 20 altogether come Sunday evening. :( This won't be a consistent seller and I reckon this will most likely crash out of the top 40 next week and be Wordshaker Part II. It's falling on iTunes and people clearly aren't buying the album physically so it's inevitable I think. Then there's the issue of them being unable to try and salvage the album with promotion now because of the tour, then they've got their 2 wks off over Xmas (which is understandable because.. well, it's Christmas and New Year :P), so really this is a pretty awful result when if it falls further. They can't exactly brush this album under the carpet like they did Wordshaker imo so hopefully they can try and amend things early next year. I don't know. They're still stuck in the same position they were two years ago and I'm clueless as to what they can do to click and connect more with the general public - and then translate it into sales. The label probably thought this would be their second big mainstream success after Chasing Lights as well seeing as they brushed Wordshaker under the carpet and left it for dead, and then it seems like they percieved Headlines to be an EP for the fans and act as a 'bridge' between Wordshaker and On Your Radar, hence why so much time, money and effort has seemingly gone into this campaign and yet it still goes wrong - and it doesn't look like Fascination/Polydor are going to see much of a return... and if Faster is the 4th single, I can't see that saving the era that much to be honest? I do hope so, though. What will this even get first week? Just under 20k?

I kinda agree. Hopefully in January they'll be out in full force trying to boost the album? Obviously Una won't be able to do much but the other four maybe? It's gonna be a weird year next year really... Una giving birth in March, taking time off until whenever, and Roch said in an interview last week they'll be writing/recording for the 5th album whilst Una's with the baby... not sure what's going to happen next year! Maybe a re-release of this album would be better mid 2012 rather than wheeling a new album out for the end of next year because more than likely that would end up the same way OYR is going?

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Pleased it climbed, even if it's one place, but now it's whether it'll stay there, fall or have longevity/consistent sales from now on which is crucial really. EDIT: Down to #13 on iTunes now, Westlife just overtook them.

iTunes Chart November (III)
Uh, Olly is so cringe and annoying hahaha. I hope Rihanna races past him now. :P

Wonderland - Debut Album
Bit of a strange comparison really since they've been released at different times of the year, in different sales periods and there are plenty more releases at the moment so the album charts are constantly all over the place. Not sure why you've said that really because I doubt Wonderland would be managing any better if they'd released their album this month.

I think Nickleback are #6. :) Not sure who's #7.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Maybe a re-release (if things don't change and they don't disband) next year could salvage the era a little? I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here so let's just wait for Sunday. Maybe they get a miracle and it storms up the charts for the rest of the week. :P

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Yeah, I'm starting to agree now. Seems like the only realistic outcome because they'll never climb back up the chart this week. They won't come back from this, I guess the public have bored of them now. I'd say beginning of 2012/few months after the tour it'll be the end...? Girls Aloud will never get back together full time, Sugababes are over, Parade didn't even chart in the top 100 with their album... so I guess The Sats will be handing the girlband title over to Little Mix... I don't think even putting out a Greatest Hits next year will help. We'll see though but it's not looking good, I can't see this having longevity or good sales further down the line either. I doubt Fascination will want to keep injecting money, time and effort into their campaigns if they're not going to do well to start with so I can't see any future plans ever coming to fruition - like Rochelle saying in an interview last week they're putting out their 5th album next year. :( But we'll see, things could smoothen out a bit but I can't see it sadly. It's sad to see hard work from the girls, management etc all come to nothing. I know it's only Tuesday, but they'll only slide further down the chart as usual. Really thought this album would be their big hit. The girls themselves must be gutted too and wondering if this is it now because their #16 chart position today must be with the frontloaded sales included!? :( They've achieved a fair bit though, and to potentially end their career with an arena tour (if they do decide to call it a day) isn't a bad way to go, and ending with an album that's up there as one of their best too. Glad I got tickets now just in case it is the last chance to see them live! The thought of The Sats no longer being together and releasing music is a horrible one though. Really do think this is the end now if things continue the way they are. I'm not sure if they can resurrect themselves and claw their way back anymore. It's like they've hit a brick wall since Notorious, and they keep trying to break the wall down but it never does.

Ah right. I know she used to be but didn't know that so just assumed she was still with them. Thanks. :) Who do Fascination even have on their roster at the moment? Just The Sats?
-
On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
At least we've got another album and tour out of them. Sophie Ellis Bextor is still with Fascination and she doesn't have major chart success anymore so maybe Fascination might keep the girls on? But then I guess because the girls are more commercial currently I don't know. The fans clearly enjoy their music though, it's just they don't seem to connect with the wider public and I have no idea how they can change that... I don't think the girls will ever be huge in the UK though. Meh, what will be will be. Pretty sad how much this has messed up my mood and day now though! Lol. First Pixie flops, now The Sats look set to follow - who next!

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
I doubt this will have any longevity/consistency in sales either so they're kinda screwed.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Ah right. The management seem to think they can sell on name alone and that's evidenced through little promo this month for both the single and album. I know promo will be limited now, but they should be carting them off here, there and everywhere - wherever they can. They don't sell on name alone and that's shown by today's midweek. But yeah, I'm not sure even releasing a Greatest Hits next year would even help them out. Sad to see their hard work for this album not paying off. Pardon the pun but they're not on anyone's radar it seems. :( They're back to square one again. Sad because I had such a good feeling about this era, really thought this was going to be the 'one' and it would finally make them huge, take them up a level in the UK... and us fans would finally have something to celebrate and shout off the rooftops about at last... how wrong I was! :( Wonder what the girls are thinking right now. :( At least we've got the tour I guess.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Moving to the same label as Rihanna? Def Jam isn't she? I don't even think that'd change things, they just can't seem to sell anything anymore. All interest in The Sats has vanished... people just don't seem to be able to take to them or their music outside of the fanbase/casual fans etc. Not sure where they go from here if things don't pick up. Low stock of the album in HMV pretty much everywhere probably won't be helping things either, especially when Rihanna, 1D and Westlife's albums are stacked all around the place.

On Your Radar (4th Studio Album Discussion)
Will they even get 22k first week like with Chasing Lights and Headlines? Ugh. They'll be lucky to beat Wordshaker's first week of 15k because Pixie got to #18 with 18k, and The Sats will most likely tail off even more come Sunday.
