#16 in today's album midweek....... :( Shit... I can't believe it. Really, really sad. Lol. :( I didn't think we had much of a chance for top 10, I thought top 15 at least but #16 and probably going to fall even more? This is gonna do even worse than Wordshaker. What the. Gah, it's sad how much I've taken this to heart haha. So gutted for them. I can picture Mollie's massive smile before she gets told the midweek and then her reaction. :( I'm a big fan of The Sats but there's no way they'll recover from this now imo, they're over as much as it pains me to admit it, especially if this falls even more which it most likely will. :cry:

OYR was #11 on iTunes, back down to #12 now.

Apaprently Greg James played Faster on Radio 1 earlier and said it's the next single. Up - Higher - Faster... what next? 'Over'? :P Hopefully Faster will get radio back onside. And please someone tell their management to release this on a quiet, less competitive week for once! :P

#14 on iTunes now! Do albums tend to get the top 10 exposure boost like the singles do on the iTunes homepage?

iTunes doesn't have that much of an effect on the album chart compared to the singles does it?

Wasn't sure whether to post here but MHTO shifted 23,073 first week. :)

Last weeks album sales - could be a guideline for how well the album could do: 1 Michael Buble 87,787 2 JLS 85,218 3 Snow Patrol 80,072 5 Drake 36,980 6 Susan Boyle 35,782 14 Lady Gaga 22,093 17 Andrea Bocelli 19,798 18 Pixie Lott 18,503 19 REM 15,470 It's hard to be optimistic about this release but hopefully they get their highest first week sales with this. Chasing Lights and Headlines were both 22k first week weren't they? They should be able to improve on those now. But whether they will remains to be seen... anything less than 30k would be a pretty bad and embarrassing result though imo, especially since to an extent they're more established and well known now, they're four/three - whichever you want to define OYR as :P - albums into their career - the sales should show some kind of progression and growth but I doubt they will here. I'm praying we don't have a Wordshaker Part II on our hands here. :(

Is there any promo lined up for this week? Doesn't seem to be... :( Sometimes I get the feeling that the girls/management seem to think they can sell on name alone, and they seem so laid back about this release, it's weird. Yes they're established to a certain extent I guess, but they're not the type of artist yet who can do next to no promo (other than tweeting iTunes links and tweets) and expect good sales and performance - they need to be here, there and everywhere imo. Hopefully they might do some album signings but I guess they'd already have revealed them if they were to.

This album is bloody amazing.

Irish iTunes - 21st Nov releases - album chart: #1 Rihanna #4 One Direction #7 Westlife #8 Kate Bush #20 The Saturdays #25 Nickleback I know it's not indicative of total sales since iTunes serves as a smaller proportion of sales in total, but thought it could be a kind of decent indicator with the UK release on Monday. The girls fare better in the UK than Ireland generally don't they? Fingers crossed... so excited for my pre-order to get here! :D

Gawd that'd be terrible if that happened. :mellow: Would that be their lowest first week album sales ever? Wordshaker was 18k I think, right? Headlines somewhere around 22k.. I can't remember what Chasing Lights first week sales were...

It's out in Ireland midnight tonight. :) Really hope this does better than I'm expecting it to. Praying to the pop Gods this is a successful album!
