True, but it'd boost sales to an extent, and be their first 'big' promo - when else are they going to have an opportunity to plug themselves, the album, single and tour to 12 million people all at once?

What don't you get? (I don't mean that to come across rude btw haha, just asking - I'm just saying that a few people are tweeting about them supposedly being on XF etc and same with some comments on YT videos etc... it just seems like we're all getting our hopes up for nothing)

People are commenting on some Sats related vids on YT about how excited they are to see them perform at last, same with tweets too.. oh dear :( Think we should stop getting our hopes up now.. haha. :\

Apparently they are - there are several tweets saying the charity single is being performed on the 20th. And plus xfactorupdates have alluded to this too (who have correctly stated all the guest performers so far this series before they're on the show). But then again tweets and articles keep cropping up about The Sats performing. I'll be peed if Olly (as much as I like him) takes their spot if the charity single doesn't end up on the show that weekend (although it probs will), if anything that spot should go back to the girls since it appears they were meant to be on originally and then shafted - not bringing in another act entirely, provided all of this is true. That would be unfair and disrespectful of the original booking of the girls, remaining relegated to Xtra Factor even when the act they were replaced by isn't performing in their place anymore. Then again it is show business. :P Ditch the finalist group performance since they'll be performing for the charity single anyway and just have 3 guests (Rihanna, Sats, Charity single) and we're all happy! Either way, hopefully we'll get news soon on whether they are (crossing everything!!) or not (booo) on the main show. Bet it'll be Rihanna, charity single and Olly Murs ffs. :(

That's what I'm hoping will happen but probably not, the girls seem to be cursed, seriously :P And you'd think that would be the most logical thing to do wouldn't it haha - that way everyone is happy! Wouldn't XF be breaking the booking agreement too, if there is one? If the girls were already booked then they should be performing on the main show regardless? Apparently a fan account on Twitter for Una tweeted that a TV Guide listed the girls as down for performing on the main show... too confusing! Won't get too excited though, it'll probably just be Xtra Factor (booo). All of this would only happen to The Sats. I just hope that xfactorupdates' source just hasn't been able to fully confirm if the girls are on the main show and forgot to mention they're on the main show aswell as Xtra! :P

It seems XF have drafted in 1D and JLS for the finalists charity single so perhaps that's why they've seemingly replaced The Sats slot...? If both 1D and JLS couldn't fit the XF performance anywhere else in their schedules other than the 20th, even though the charity single isn't released until the week after (28th Nov)...? Bit unfair though seemingly booking The Sats for the main show well in advance only to replace them at the last minute it seems and having to settle for second best in Xtra Factor, as I guess all guest slots on the rest of the results show for this year have been taken. This would only happen to the girls, wouldn't it! Grrr. The 20th would be the perfect promo to launch the album, help the single and shift tour tickets. I guess all we can hope is that they have 3 guests on instead, 1D and JLS have already had XF exposure this series, The Sats could do with it big time. :( And also that both JLS and One Direction have/are performed(ing) on the main show and Xtra Factor this year so hopefully there just isn't allowed to be any confirmation whether Te Sats are on the main show too, could be embargoed? Hmm. We'll see. It's not like there would be time limits on the results show either since there are less acts in the show now when it comes to the results part of who's through to the next show. They could easily make it so there's three performances - they had 3 guest performers on several results shows last year - and they were even with the finalist group performance at the start of the show and also earlier in this series this year without a group performance (Kelly, Bruno, Pro Green). Meh. Knowing our/the girls' luck though it'll just be Rihanna and the charity single.

Yep! She's performing on Xtra Factor this weekend it seems, but so are 1D apparently aswell as the main show. We'll just have to wait and see, and try not to get our hopes up too much! :)

I've only seen one article on Google and that was the one the TellyMix article I posted last night that cites xfactorupdates as the source? Fingers crossed though. Be gutted to know they've been replaced if they don't end up performing and have to settle for Xtra Factor while the charity single takes their spot, which isn't even out for another week. I hope they do what 1D and JLS have done and perform on both the main show and Xtra Factor... no harm in 3 guests!

So now he's been kicked off, that'll mean they don't want any association with him now, right?.. so won't they have to edit/redo the charity single too??

I'll be even more annoyed imagining if they've already put together an intro VT of the girls that we'll never see if they don't end up on the main show because they were replaced...:P And then thinking of how beneficial the exposure to an audience of around 11-13 million could be to the single, launching the album and helping shift some tour tickets... and how that's been snatched away from them! Lol.

Ah no, I mean the week after - the 20th - that's when the girls are on Xtra Factor, and we think originally meant to be performing on the main show, if that guy is correct and what he posted is how I've interpreted it haha. :)

I don't think it's the Gary Barlow/Children in Need track, I think it's the XF finalists charity single. :) But then again I might be wrong haha. I guess it's kinda good news if it is true that they were originally booked as they're finally getting some recognition, but then again it's not that good to know it's been snatched away and their chance of having a 'moment', getting themselves out there to the around 13 million people on the biggest show on TV and thus potentially boosting sales for the single, album and tour has been lost through that. It's not like they'd have a shite intro either, I mean look at Professor Green's VT... If only that charity single was released the week after lol!

If it is true and they were replaced then I'd rather have known they wouldn't have got a slot at all rather than know they had one, only to lose it - especially to think they could have potentially gained more hype and interest around the album to around 12 million people. :( It's more frustrating than not being considered to perform at all. But then again his post could be construed as vague, and he may have meant that The Sats were always scheduled for Xtra Factor and not the main show. I don't know but to me, when I first read his post it sounded like they'd originally been invited on. This guy is quite reliable too, so it's hardly complete bull, he's got every guest performance right this series (and last). And he's also had the final 16 for this year and last year correct weeks before the live shows too.

The guy who seems to find out about the guest performances first (he's got them right every week so far) said it seems the girls were originally due to appear on the main show with Rihanna as he was told first time round but recently been told it seems the girls are now demoted to Xtra Factor in favour of the charity single performance, taking their place. Annoying. Don't see why the charity single performance can't just take the place of the finalists group performance instead and have the two guest stars as normal, but no.
