Ah well, hopefully top 10 for both album and single and I'll be happy with that for the girls.

So, for a top 10 we're looking at ideally OYR shifting around 40k+ first week? Do we think they could manage that? I'm not so sure.. nervous! I'm excited for the album but at the same time horribly worried about it flopping.:( They seem to have finally taken their time with this record so I hope there isn't too much filler like Wordshaker. Looking below at the sales figures for GA, would we say Tangled Up is the most comparable in terms of potential sales and release date?

I hope there's a few more Xenomania tracks on the album. They were papped down at the Xenomania studios in Kent just before they stopped recording for the album.. might not mean anything but fingers crossed.

I hope they have a chance of an XF slot, even if it's not on release week. Cee Lo Green is the first guest performer along with Matt Cardle this weekend. Cee Lo had one #1 single here in the UK, a platinum debut album here, and the rest of his singles have peaked in the top 20. IMO The Sats have had far more success here than him, it's irritating to see them getting snubbed, especially when they're a British act, there are girlbands on the show in the groups category and the girls themselves have been successful. I mean, they're hardly unknown - they're usually in the media near enough on a daily basis! I know it's not the be all or end all, but it would be nice to see them on a prime slot for once. Peter Loraine needs to get on his knees, beg and offer hard cash. :P Rihanna moved the We Found Love release forward to yesterday so that's her out the way in terms of competition in release week. So they're just going up against the Children In Need single now aren't they? Plus entries from the week before.

I'd love The Saturdays to get a slot.. but they'll be overlooked again. The show has girlbands on the show in the groups category, why not promote the biggest girlband in the UK?

I think they'll do an Atomic Kitten, when Natasha was pregnant. She's said she's fully committed to the band, but then again that's while the baby isn't here yet.. it could be different once the baby arrives.

I don't think it'd be the end of The Saturdays.. they could get a Greatest Hits out for 2012 whilst Una's off, keeping the band in the spotlight - they're not the type of artist yet who could disappear for a whole year and then make a comeback - whilst Una's on maternity leave and allowing her to spend more time with the baby but still dedicate time to the band at the same time and then come back in 2013 with a new album maybe. I'd hate to see Una leave the band, but if it comes to it I hope they don't replace her, and instead just continue as a four piece which they've said all along is what they'd do if one of them did quit. It is worrying though.. and although she's stated today/last night that she has no intention of leaving the band, it could be a whole different story once the baby actually arrives.

Oh I get you. :) I still don't think they'll grab #1 though unless Pixie drastically freefalls at the end of the week. Nice to see them #1 on TV airplay. At least the sales will be great, which is the main thing and probably what they needed. Shows there's still plenty of interest in them and relevance. Wonder how Mr Cowell feels at the girls doing better than Leona. :P Maybe now people will sit up and take note of them more since noone expected them to do better than one of or both of them!

Wouldn't the first midweek have taken all The Sats combined sales into account? If so they're still behind Pixie who's around 1,200k ahead? It's too close for my liking haha!
