Not Giving Up officially confirmed... about time! :D

They should do a YouTube video of them announcing the single on set of the video tomorrow and upload it. Something a bit more exciting than a quick 'Team Sats!! Our new single is... NOT GIVING UP!! We're so excited!' type tweet and then that's it.

Not good. :( I was looking forward to Lily coming back but so far it's been underwhelming. Hard Out Here got pretty dull for me quickly and this sounds like a Cher Lloyd demo.

Disappointed. :( Rihanna sounds good though. Definitely not lead material. Shakira, Paloma and Lily premieres all in one day. Yet all three seriously disappointing.

I think I did it wrong too, giving answers based on what the public would say rather than us fans. :blush: :lol: We should do a 'pointless' quiz going through each album 'era', questions on promo appearances/performances, tours, music videos, the music itself, flip videos, interviews, the girls themselves. That could help make it a regular thing maybe? (If that's what people wanted). It may be better just as a one off, who knows. :)

They definitely should push for it with Not Giving Up. Similar to What About Us - appeals to everyone, catchy, fun, lyrics that don't alienate (a la Gentleman) and the song itself has universal appeal. Just need a good video to go with it (artsy and slick or fun and laid back - song suits either) and solid promo (as much as possible for this time of year). EDIT: Still sounds like there's no mention about the single or tour in the mailer today. Haven't had mine yet but others have said such. I'm bored of them teasing things way too far in advance and then dragging it out until noone cares and the interest is long gone. What are they playing at, really? They need to do something. :zzz:

Not sure what day she'll be but it airs from next Monday (13th) for four consecutive nights from 8.30pm on BBC2. :)

Not Giving Up would be a cool intro to the show. And an explosion of fireworks after Una's 'walking on the edge til we're crashing down' at the start as it goes into the first chorus. Don't know what they could do for the entrance though... they've come down from the ceiling with the Notorious lift, up from the floor with Higher. In from the sides? :P

I want them to fly in and have a B stage. Gentleman would be a good entrance but don't think it's the right song to open with. They'd probably open with Disco Love and What About Us the encore. I hope the costumes are a bit more 'glam' this time round than all the neon cheap looking ones. Mollie should get Julien Macdonald to design a few since she's modelled for him and is on good terms with him.

Wonder what the project Mollie was doing in Cannes was for? Saw it mentioned in the most recent mailer that we'll find out soon. Something make up/beauty related? L'Oreal or something? Or something with Oasis.

If there's 15 songs nominated like there was for the British Single category last year then yes, they'll be nominated as they're the 13th biggest selling British single of the year, but if the Brits decide to just make it the 10 biggest songs nominated then obviously they won't be. And knowing The Sats luck they'll make it 10 songs this year. :lol:
