Well, Una did say in an interview that we'd get the album title this week and when the main account tweeted to sign up to the mailer for album news we were expecting it to include that. Hey ho.

So another week to wait after making us assume we'd find out today? I'm far too impatient. :blush: The quicker they get the news out the better to make more people aware. It'll be six weeks this Monday until the album is out - is that enough time for them to build hype and make as many people aware? Hopefully the start of this week they announce it (e.g. the title and get the pre-order up straight away), or spread it out and announce bits through the week but I'm sure they'll wait until next Saturday.

As long as the album isn't self titled or something cringe like Saturday Nights I'm happy. My guesses: V (roman numeral for five - five years on the scene/fifth album - or not :P but the girls see it as their fifth I think so maybe? Plus Una said they decided the album title the weekend they were at V, and that there was a hint there about deciding it then at that weekend in their R1 interview - maybe more to do with the weekend than V or anything, of course but still :P) or Taking Back Sunday. Although maybe Colonial Masses will finally catch its big break? :P

Talking promo... Alan Carr/Jonathan Ross/Graham Norton - are they all back in October? Obviously there's the morning/daytime shows, radio interviews and X Factor/Strictly too so we'll see with those two but not get our hopes up on that front. Can't think of much else.

Radio better eat this up. Hopefully Capital play it constantly. I love it. Hope it's a big hit and they promote it big time to make it a hit.

I can't work out if I'm pleased by that or not (if it's true of course). I just want a new album of 12+ songs though. Hmm so I guess I don't want it to be true :lol: I guess if they do do a Greatest Hits this year then the 'new' album will be put on hold and released next year sometime? As long as they keep all the songs for the new album.

Where have Doctor Love, Sober and Can't Pull Me Back come from? Or are they made up songs? :)

Why don't they reduce it today?! What are they doing? Are they allowed to do it or not? If not, I don't get what they are playing it they can do it? Especially while it's still at #13 and has a chance - however much - of keeping top 10, even if it is #10... a top 10 peak would save face a little. Are they not bothered or just clueless and deluded?

I hope they're actually checking iTunes rather than just thinking 'Ooh we're #8 in the mids, that's fine' and get disappointed that they've dropped out of the top 10 on Sunday. Even 79p might help them stay there before it's too late. Hmm, might go and buy some of the remixes on iTunes.

PRICE REDUCTION PLEASE. Not ideal I know, but it won't do anything after this week so they've nothing to lose - just secure that top 10 peak. They won't though... I hope they're not deluded enough to think it will stay top 10 without it. I'll be annoyed if they go in at #11 on Sunday. :(

I don't - it's a great, quirky little pop track. It's a shame some people suddenly turn on something and dislike it because it's not a success or whatever - it's silly. It was the same with WAU beforehand - a lot of people were against it (myself included) but after the #1 everyone suddenly jumped on the bandwagon and attached themselves to the track, saying they loved it and it was their best single etc - I'm still not mad on it but at the same time can see its appeal.

Should this be locked and there be be a pt. 2 now? :)

I didn't get that post either lol. You hardly sound like a fan of them if all you care about is success and whether they're flopping or not and belittle them the minute they're not doing great. Surely the music comes first... Anyway, they should just reduce Gentleman to 59p since they are close to top 10. Surely they don't want to miss out on a top 10 peak (especially after a #1) when they have a chance to do it if they reduce it? Especially for a pre-album single... sure it's not going to do well after this week but adding another top 10 to their collection would save face a little. Well, not save face, but look better than a top 20.

They may as well just reduce it to 59p if they stay close to The Wanted at #11 on iTunes if they want that top 10 position. Plus physicals but that won't prop them up for the rest of the week. I'd guess #12 come Sunday though if they don't reduce it/don't climb back up.

Hmm, I'm over it to be honest. Yes, it's not paid off for them and yes, it is disheartening after a #1 single but whether it charted at #1 or #40 it doesn't change my view on the song - I like it whether it was a hit or a flop although maybe reducing to 59p would help out - are they allowed to do that? They definitely should have done a few CD signings too. Sure, another top 10 and continued success after WAU would have been nice but the song just isn't one that will appeal to the masses but I think it's great they took a risk and didn't play safe, just a shame it's not gone they way they'd have liked. They'll come back with the next single sharpish now I guess and they should be fine whether they cling on to #10 or chart top 20.

Hallelujah! Hopefully it'll get a boost now?! Gabz seemed to when she entered, granted it may not but her top 10 boost gives me hope :P What's the gap between #10 and #9? Could it get any higher? I guess #6 is out of the question. :P

Haha just about! Thanks. :) So they're stable at #11 but still increasing so could overtake The Wanted? I wouldn't mind so much but it's the fact they're stuck at #11 and are so close to going top 10! :lol: Take down The Wanted, girls!

LiveHits isn't worth using. Ugh seeing that Gabz girl get a good boost from being top 10 is annoying... The Sats could potentially get that. Come on and get to #10!
