It mentions D Success is Taylor made for Milngavie’s king crimper MILNGAVIE’S oWN stylist to the stars Taylor Ferguson has been recognised for more than 50 years in the hairdressing profession at a prestigious awards ceremony. Taylor scooped the Lifetime Achievement Award in the second Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards 2012 held in the Glasgow Crowne Plaza Hotel. And another local lad, singer/actor Darius Campbell, sent a surprise video message of congratulations for Taylor’s appearance at the ceremony. The awards recognised the best and most creative in the Scottish hairdressing and beauty therapy worlds. Taylor has been in the hairdressing profession all his working life, having followed in the footsteps of his hairdresser mother Patricia. Thirty-five years ago Taylor and his wife Anne set up their own salon in Glasgow’s Bath Street where they’ve established an enviable reputation in the business. His work has taken him all over the world, participating in prestigious hair shows in London, New York, Hong Kong, Paris, Bangkok and Amsterdam. He and Anne had been at the awards with members of the salon team and told the Herald: “Being recognised like this within a profession as vibrant as mine is always a humbling experience. “I’ve always been focused on getting the job done and so these moments are very special. “I work in what I’ve always believed to be the best job in the world and I get to meet great people every day. “When I first started my career as a teenager I never imagined how wonderful a journey it would be. “I’ve visited so many countries and taken part in a string of prestigious hair shows but the one thing I love more than anything is being with a client and being entrusted with cutting their hair. “I’ll continue working hard and transforming clients with good hair makeovers for a long time yet.” Darius sent his video message of congratulations from Toronto where he’s based. Taylor, right, said: “That was a complete surprise to me. They’d kept it all hush-hush. Darius has been a client and friend for years and it was very thoughtful of him to go to the bother of sending the video message.”

Just got some brand new speakers 4 my birthday so ive finally been able 2 listen to the new songs and i hav 2 say i rely like them aspecially crazy love. I wasnt sure if i wud with it being devil in you style which im not keen on but i rely do like it. :)
