If it's any help to you Vidcapper regarding the unknown total for Coldplay's Fix You (#167), Andy at Haven has a list of the band's best selling singles. Posted on January 27, Fix You had 430,000 sales. It was their third best-seller, behind Viva La Vida (612,000) and Paradise (640,000) according to the same list.

Thanks for your hard work, Vidcapper! How long does it take you to compile something like this????

    What? No Mr Brightside??!!!! :-(

Both - but I log onto buzzjack every day, whereas I only dip into haven once a week or so for the same reason as most other posters have mentioned
  5. Voted for Alexandra without looking at comments - thought I'd be only one voting for her! Would really love her or Leona to grab it. Although, technically, Alexandra already has five #1s (three of her own + Hero and Everybody Hurts)...
  6. A Susan Boyle charity single released in response to the death of a young Kate Middleton?
  7. Hey - we have exactly the same number of posts! (Well, we did before this one!) Just thought I'd share that :P
  8. Love Matt Cardle!! He's so hot.
  9. I'll drink to that! Hallelujah! :cheer:
  10. Cheers for that - it makes good sense. It's just kind of weird that singles sales really started to take off as the country went deeper and deeper into recession! But I guess 79p or whatever isn't much to pay for a track, compared to £3.99 10 or 15 years ago!
  11. Maybe this is an ignorant question, but why exactly were singles sales so bad 2003-2007ish?
  12. Ah, but isn't Atomic Kitten's reforming this year going to send sales of Whole Again back into orbit? :P
  13. Oh I thought AB's Hallelujah was great! A real classic! And I love the video too! She's hot. B-)
  14. So if Whole Again has sold 980k and Fight For This Love is a place higher, it must be very close to the mill...
  15. it's all the rage apparently, haha!
  16. If Adele were to die before album number 3, surely that would kill off any chance she'd have of hitting the top spots.
  17. Really? No singles at all? (forgive my ignorance, but I don't have a tracklisting!) Why'd people buy it then in their millions???
  18. Is 21's massive success all the more bizarre given how the album has only spawned three hit singles? Most of the other albums here seem to be brimming with classics!
  19. I enjoy looking over the figures too, VC - just not sure I have anything to say! Sorry!
  20. So it seems we're still waiting for a massive international popstar to emerge from Northern Ireland. Hope it happens soon!!
  21. Future hit for this thread - Janet Devlin's first single! :-)
  22. Joy Rider had a T40 hit with Rush Hour in about July 1996, I think it made about #22! One of the guys in the band used to be married to a friend of mine in Portadown!

Yeah, Mr Brightside seems to be a fixture in the T200 - I thought it would've sold 90-100k at least. Ah well...

shouldn't the killers be on this list?
  25. Sorry to be a pest, Vidcapper, but would you have a rough estimate of how many copies Cliff Richard's Saviour's Day sold last week?
