I had every Britney single on cassette, even though soon after the first 3 singles I got my first CD player.....it just seemed that, as i'd already started, I might as well finish. But then they abruptly finished releasing cassette singles right through the middle of one album campaign. Cassette singles always looked great, so compact, it was sad when they slowly disappeared from the shops. Though what did p*** me off, was when they put a track on a cassette (B-side or remix) that wasn't actually on the CD single.
  2. Oh no!!! Britney has slipped down to 5 on the iTunes chart.
  3. Smoke2Seven and Sister2sister Two here today, gone tomorrow girl groups.
  4. Is it me, or is Diddy extending his lead over Britney on the UK iTunes popularity bars? :(
  5. I can't believe Smoke 2 Seven were actually playlisted!!! I played this and their following single and album for absolutely ages, yet nobody else I spoke to had ever heard of them. The early 2000s were such good times for me musically.
  6. Yay, I love all the positive Britney fans here.
  7. Well according to the updated midweeks in the chart thread, she's sitting on #6 for Sunday, on the iTunes popularity bars, she is very close behind Diddy - Dirty Money, if she gets a good push of sales, she could overtake, and maybe secure a top 5 placing on Sunday. Does that sound possible?
  8. I love that 3 versions of greatest hits are in the top 200 iTunes albums chart.
  9. It's all so exciting, I don't think i've ever cared so much about a chart placing!! Surely by the end of the month, the worldwide sales for this single will be in the millions!!
  10. So.....could it be at all possible, if sales continue to be strong, that she could enter the UK top 10 on Sunday?
  11. Of course!! I love Alizee, a french pop singer, and I don't really understand a word, but you don't really have to, music isn't always about the lyrics, its about just enjoying what you hear. Also, I love the Mediaeval Baebes, a girl group, who sing in a diverse range of languages, mainly middle english, but also french, russian, irish and latin. Heres a particularly creepy song of theres. How Death Comes
  12. Woohoo, Brit has now broke into the UK iTunes top 5. How much power does this woman have!!!
  13. What channel/time is it on tonight? Not usually a Glee watcher.
  14. Me too,, maybe they're holding out until the Glee episode tonight, then release it to iTunes et al.
  15. If its disappearing from all the digital stores, does that mean its a record company thing and not an iTunes thing?
  16. It's disappeared from iTunes again, WTF is going on?
  17. And its moved up to 17, bonus!
  18. HIAM has now been removed from iTunes!!!! ...And also Amazon, what's going on?
  19. Britney has broke the Itunes UK top 20, currently sitting at 19!!
  20. And now available on UK Itunes. Go forth and download.
  21. Available to download on Amazon UK NOW!!!!!
  22. Just wondering if there are any fans of the Mediaeval Baebes on this forum, I really love them, there is something very captivating about their music. For those who don't know, they are an all female group of six who take mediaeval prose and text and put it to their own music. Here's a link of one of their songs from their most recent studio album, Illumination, it's call The Blacksmiths.
  23. Amazon UK is still saying 17th Jan for digital release :)
  24. Yeah exactly!!! Why delay releases when they are already available? Once Hold It Against Me premieres, it will be all over the net, if (and it probably will) the UK release doesn't happen for a few weeks, then most people will just downoad illegally to get a copy.
  25. Whilst, of course, I am extremely excited about this new single and era, I just bet us fans in the UK won't be able to purchase the single until about late Feb or early March, which means, most people will probably illegally download it. It happened with the Circus single releases, we had to wait two months later than most countries for the Circus and If U Seek Amy singles, and look what happened, awful chart positions. I say, make this limited download worldwide, let everyone bask in the brilliance of Brit.
