Kworb says the album is #128 in Ireland. Why the sudden rise?

I'm re-reading Our Story and it fills you with so much joy knowing how much these girls would achieve in the following years. I love reading Una talking about her solo gigs in Ireland...having no idea that in a few years she would have released five albums, a GH, have two children...

Well, it's obivous it's not exactly the same case, as Nicole was more than glad to be pushed to the front. What I meant is that Simone was very prominent image-wise and vocally, so whatever new music that GRL releases now is going to sound very different.

It would be really distasteful if they replaced her with a new girl, but the thing is, their songs will need to be completely re-worked, as her voice was really prominent above all the others. Even in the performances I've seen she was clearly pushed as the leader of the group, in a very Nicole Scherzinger way.

Well, I don't expect an immediate effect. We'll have to wait and see if the public connects with her.

I'd say this is it. It doesn't even have the residual plays on the radio of a recent single to make up for the natural lack of promo. Fingers crossed it can get some extra sales from the tour. God knows it would have helped On Your Radar.

Every Saturdays fan should meet the girls at least once. I met them at their New York signing and it was incredible. They are the nicest girls on the planet.

Their performances have always been like this, with or without children. I'd say it depends more on the song+choreography than her natural abilities, which remain the same. Gentleman and Disco Love had some of their best ever performances vocally wise. In my opinion what they should do is to figure out another style for their performances, simpler chorepgraphies that allowed them to use better vocals. But of course, the general public hasn't cared when they actually pulled decent performances, so what do I know? Voted! :cheer:
