  1. Not only that, I think their main problem now is that they need a post-album single to do better than Louder, which is unlikely now that radios won't be so eager to support them. The second week of the album will be capital to their future plans.
  2. I don't understand why their management doesn't plug All Saints with The Saturdays. They are signed to them and their tour with the Big Reunion was cancelled...yeah they are too big to be an 'opening act' but I'm sure they can tag them as 'special guests' and everything would be fine. I guess they have other plans.
  3. It does for me too. Hooray!
  4. Radio tour, for a start.
  5. Well, they are starting the promo this week, so hopefully we'll see the effect.
  6. The only change I would have made would have been releasing Not Giving Up after What About Us. And probably getting another album cover. If you change the release date, you either have to exclude Disco Love from the album or go too far away from the What About Us / Chasing The Saturdays success, so I really think they did the best they could with that.
  7. I prefer Walking Through the Desert. 808 is fine, but it's a bit 30 Days in the sense that it's nice, but it doesn't add anything fresh or particularly great to their discography. By the way, I made my own Una cover :yahoo: http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a554/JoseBelmonte/saturdays-gh-una_zpsbdcc029d.jpg It's funny that it doesn't really matter how cheap the lettering looks, as they did such a bad work with the original.
  8. You are all forgetting that What About Us only got high airplay once it got to #1 on iTunes, though.

The fact they are already spending money on studio sessions means they probably don't care too much about the sales of the GH. Even if it sells very little, it will have been free money and a profitable project.

Imagine how much better our future Christmases would be!
  11. WAYWF is doing better than Not Giving Up...if it peaks the same or lower it will be because of streaming and the album. But it's doing better on preorders.
  12. That was actually the perfect way to promote the GH. I'm glad she did this.
  13. I'm glad. That is what they should be doing. Divide and promote.

Christmas albums are usually a good business move, though, and they keep selling over the years. I'm not totally against the idea, as I think they could give a nice pop-twist to some traditional songs. Plus, I bet they could make some fantastic originals. I'm thinking in something along the lines Leona Lewis' One More Sleep.
  15. Debut album =/= fifth album. They are not comparable cases, for better or worse.

That's a really good point, actually.
  17. Exactly what I was going to say. Too bad it's not the new single, but at least they are playing them.
  18. Well, they ARE desperate, because they can't rely on airplay. Besides, it's no secret that their main target here is to sell the album, so putting out a cheap song may be one way to get the people started and get the full GH afterwards.
  19. One reason could be that the potential audience is responding to this. People who have previously purchased a Saturdays song or follow them on social networks are getting on board now for this. I mean, apart from Facebook, Twitter and music channels they are barely promoting anywhere else.
  20. You should try ordering it first, and see what happens.
  21. Weren't we supposed to have the new Radio 1 playlist about thirty minutes ago?
  22. I think it doesn't count towards any chart.
  23. Their continued support for Disco Love to this day gives me hopes, but logic says that their time is running out. They have been insanely lucky to last this long considering all the groups and music acts in general that have risen and fallen during that time span. Damn, pretty much everyone who was a big novelty act in 2011 is musically dead at this point.
  24. How can I find it on Facebook?
