Sats iTunes Watch Part 3.
Disco Love is doing pretty good this morning! I'm pretty confident What About Us will reach the 400k mark in the coming months/weeks. It's normal to see it pop up in the top400 from time to time and it should get a little push when the album drops.

I'm very curious to see how is it going to sell in Ireland. I have the impression both the single and the album are doing better there.

They were interviewed in Radio 1 just a few minutes ago. Apparently the host took over Keisha's twitter to write this:

The album is about to crack the UK top300! Album: Living For the Weekend #52 Armenia #171 Malta #305 United Kingdom

The fact that Disco Love has gone from being out of the top400 in Armenia to #1 in a matter of minutes gives us an idea of how many copies you need to purchase there to be at the top.

Disco Love #299 Ireland What About Us #233 Ireland Album: Living For the Weekend #153 Ireland #286 United Kingdom In my predictions Living For The Weekend will definitely open bigger than On Your Radar, which will encourage them to release at least another single, which will keep the sales stable. Disco Love should do better than My Heart Takes Over. Both the album and the single have got a few pre-orders already, and the airplay should increase from this week on. The funny thing about airplay is that if we check this chart http://comparemyradio.com/artists/The_Saturdays/tracks What About Us is getting the same plays as Disco Love, which sucks for the latter, but in the end, radios are playing two singles of the same album, so they are serving its purpose.

Oh woah, the album just had a big boost in the UK and (specially) Ireland. Why? Album: Living For the Weekend #44 Armenia #128 Ireland #141 Malta #293 United Kingdom

It's funny how pretty much everyone who's preordering Living For The Weekend in Malta is also buying Chasing Lights: Album: Living For the Weekend #44 Armenia #124 Malta #371 United Kingdom Album: Chasing Lights #147 Malta It's a shame the people in the UK very rarely get interested in their previous material. People who bought What About Us didn't get 30 Days or On Your Radar...

I think even without What About Us they would have probably released a greatest hits compilation before splitting. That said...yeah, without WAU the singles run would've looked pretty bad. Specially considering only 30 Days reached top10.

Living For The Weekend - Fifth Album Discussion Thread
My only concern with Leave a Light On as the next single is that they may have scratched the campaign before they get to release Not Giving Up. The album really needs to have a good first week in order to keep a long campaign. If it does an On Your Radar, they won't keep promoting it. If it gets top10 or 15 then there will be more singles.

Too many dance tracks for my taste. I'm specially not liking 'Don't Let Me Dance Alone' at all. But I do love the sound of Leave a Light On, Lease My Love and Somebody Else's Life. Not Giving Up is just massive. And I'm appreciating Disco Love even more now, seeing as is the only reminiscence of their traditional pure pop sound.

I'm happy with the fact it's been around the #330s for the whole day. And it should stay there now that Radio 1 is going to start playing it.

They are really nice...Una's and Vanessa's would look great on an individual cover, in the style of On Your Radar. I don't really like Frankie's and Rochelle's though.

Cameron, where did you get those pics in your signature!?

I don't think there will be any chart battle. Right now I would be extremely happy if Disco Love managed a #7. That peak alone would improve their situation so much from the last album campaign.

Disco Love is Radio 1's Record of the Day, so it will be played a lot. Along with the performance tonight, seems like the campaign is off to a great (although late) start.

Mutya Keisha Siobhan - 'Flatline'
Well, it's gone from the 150s to the 120s (134 now) so, a little bit. The important thing here is to sell the tour though.

Well, most of the songs from OYR they wrote include some overly simple (and even cringey) lyrics, but I definitely prefer to listen to what they want to say rather than what some unkown person wrote.

I'm not worried at all about Radio 1. It's not the first time they've been listed a single just 3 weeks before the release (I think it happened with 30 Days?) and Mollie has appeared in a few shows, so they have a good relationship with them. Plus, they are not going to choose to snub them the moment they are releasing a new album.

It's sad because I would say that being in those positions the days before the release would be a good signal. We'll see how Living For The Weekend goes!
