  1. I would prefer an Austin Powers' party theme...they would look AMAZING in those 60s outfits!
  2. Wordshaker had one more single after it bombed so I believe this will have one too. I also think they had their 'mini album' chance with Headlines! now there is not such a need to cut with the imagery of the current era, they just have to show people they can find poppy stuff too, the dilemma here is should they go with a classic Saturdays hit (White Lies) or with the proper evolution of their most poppy stuff (Faster)? Random thought: would a Christmas edition help them much?
  3. DoggySwami posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Top 200 singles: #53 My Heart Takes Over (from the single EP) #120 My Heart Takes Over (from On Your Radar) #164 All Fired Up (from Now That's What I Call Music) Top200 albums: #40 On Your Radar
  4. They are perfectly capable of doing a really fun, spectacular tour video. Something in the line of Rihanna's Cheers would be quite great. But it could also go all wrong and be boring, so I don't know.
  5. This! It's the first song I play when I go out of my house on a rainy day.
  6. They have to make sure they don't fall off the spot, they need to keep up a small but steady presence in the media...they'll get press coverage for the tour, and they should send a new single to radios ASAP.
  7. And if it would've entered the top75 again people would be complaining that it didn't re-entered 'at least' the top40. People will always moan about them, nothing is good enough. (And I'm not pointing necessarilly at you, I'm just using the comment as an example)
  8. How convenient that you erased the message of other user saying this was doing worse than Sweet 7, I guess that makes your post completely...pointless?
  9. Glad to see this re-entering the top100 at #86!
  10. Lol! no freaking way. Sweet 7 needed more than 3 weeks in the top100 to get 19k sales in total...and On Your Radar is going to sell that in their first week, and no need to say that the tour and the next singles will make the album stay in the charts at least more than three weeks, so there is no chance of this doing worse than that album.
  11. Not really, neither Notorious nor All Fired Up had to share the 'main spot' with the album thread, so the singles thread were the most important back then.
  12. People always expect too much of them, and they always end up being disappointed. They've been doing just fine until now with their low-decent album sales, some hit singles and selling theatre tours...why is that suddenly reason to drop them immediately? Why can't they remain as a middle profile act for a few years more?
  13. Of course, but it's not a sign to think about the immediate end of the band, a huge drop in the second week and the rest of coments you can read on music boards nowadays either.
  14. The difference is, they were never at Pixie's level of expectation or past success. She's had way more sales, airplay and bigger promotional slots. For Pixie, it was an underwhelming start, a sign of things to come, but for TheSats it would be just the usual sales, and they could keep sales steady with the next singles. What is #17 now was a top5 three months ago, so I think there a reasons enough to keep up the faith.
  15. I've heard they sold around 11k-12k in the first two days, so they would definitely overpass Pixie's first week sales, 18k. And they should sell around 20k-25k by Sunday, which is what they use to sell. Can anyone confirm this?
  16. Why not selling out an arena tour is a bad sign? They can get a lot of profit even if they don't sell out any date...which is not their case.
  17. So you think that they are not performing on The X-Factor because they don't want to?
  18. iTunes is not really significant for album sales, but given the status of 'singles artist' the group has, it's very interesting how the singles audience is answering to their releases, specially what are the album tracks they're more interested on and so. Now the album is up to #20, and All Fired Up is up to around #127. Don't get obsessed about the chart position, they can have great sales charting inside the top15/20.
  19. But that's actually good news, it shows that you don't have to be top10 to have good sales/a good result. Off topic...I'm from Spain, I hope I get the fan edition on Tuesday as very late!
  20. They are again on the cover of Los40's website, the most important radio station in Spain...they haven't been playlisted in the past and certainly won't get listed with this single, but it's always nice to see that they are on the focus of people in the industry of other countries. They appear in the second banner: http://www.los40.com/ Also, the website has a top5 of the most watched videos, so it would be nice to see them back there...All Fired Up spent a lot of days hanging around #2-#4.
  21. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT, VANESSA???? (at 2:37) this is what the other three should've shouted her after the performance. And I hope they did. This girl is so frustrating.
  22. Those kind of promo slots like Daybreak, Lorraine, Alan Tichmarsh...don't usually have any effect on iTunes. I don't know in the long term, but we haven't seen any boost in the last single campaigns.
  23. Exactly, this is doing just fine. If it doesn't get to the top10 it will be because of the strong competition.
  24. The other one is at #75, which is quite good.
