Nice...I'd feared Leona would overtake them today.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Seems like radios are picking this up again, so here's hoping for a great result. Based on airplay, Pixie would be unbeatable, though. Let's hope people don't like that song SO much as radios.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Today are down 10 places on airplay, to #51. Not good at all, even more when Pixie doesn't stop climbing. Edit: Now that I' thinking, it's not such a big deal. Pixie was around the same position this time last week. They probably got a boost thanks to the video, and now are just getting back to normal levels, only improved by the plays by Radio 1. I'm start worrying if they fal to #60, but for now I thinks it's fine for them.

The biggest Spanish radio station announces the video on their website: http://www.los40.com/ (please, enter the link on the website and rate the video, as they have a top5 of the most watched and best rated videos) It doesn't mean it's going to be playlisted, though. They also announced Ego and never entered their top40. But at least they know about them and I get the feeling they'll start playing it if it's successful enough in the UK.

In fact, they did it in perfect sync with their background dancers, which was really impressive! a year ago we were talking they couldn't even be in sync with each other. That's the secret dream of every fan. I felt so jealous!

Up four places to #41 on airplay. Pixie's up two places to #34.

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Yeah...it's like when people buy the album after listening to the new single...well, here they would buy the previous single.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
They have a big market waiting for them here in Spain. They just need someone to support them and play the single on radios. Edit: SO glad to see they are already #45 on airplay!! this is climbing like a rocket. Pixie is at #36...she is not really THAT far away, although she's been higher for a long time. Leona is not in the top100.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
OH MY GOD OF POP. That's the mother of all covers! For me it was impossible they could get back to the level of CL's covers...but they have actually made the best one of all, or at least on pair with Up. Surprising that this happens after getting two of their worst covers in my opinion (Higher and Notorious).

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Mollie sings "We're all" and Una sings "animal". And then Mollie sings "So get your claws out" and Una "getcha, getcha claws out".

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I can honestly tell you that the only two groups of people that I have heard not liking this were either fans of Sugababes 4.0 or Sats haters, that were going to say they dislike it anyway, or dance-haters that it's not that they don't like the song, but they just don't like ANY dance music. And, checking the sales charts, they are an immense minority. Any other people either have just "liked" the song (like fans that prefer something more poppy, in the line of Higher) or LOVED it. But yeah, as you say, it's pointless dicusing this...sales and statistics will speak by themselves.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
You forget to add "with an airplay peak of #36". Yes, the overall results were truly underwhelming, but you can't blame the song, the sound nor the group. You can tell general people LOVED the track, as they have had the same sales of previous singles that were much more supported by radios (Forever was #6 and Missing You hit the #1!). You can blame a lot of things, radios not supporting on air/on sale releases, the management scheduling the promotion two weeks after the release date...there were a lot of issues that won't happen this time. Now, with All Fired Up being supported by radios and with the great response from the public it looks this single will do really good. The biggest challenge for the #1 will be Pixie Lott and her major radio support. Leona won't be a big deal given that her song is yet to chart inside the top100 of airplay and she won't have the video out until next week as the soonest, so she'll miss that promotion. Plus, the response of the public has been really underwhelming for her song.

Absolutely fantastic. How are Pixie and Leona doing?...and where can I see this chart? The video is a 10. Their best one along with Notorious... Una just looks AMAZING, I have only eyes for her when I watch the video. The dancers shots are really spectacular, and their poses are epic.

It's incredible how often are this errors with countdowns on websites...

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Great news, as this will help them staying on the top100 airplay this week.

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
Melanie C sang her new single and later she did When You're Gone with one of the contestants, so they'll probably sing Up or Ego with one of the finalists. Here's her performance: http://youtu.be/HabedNMvLn8

How is the rest of the competition doing on airplay? Pixie? Leona?
-
Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Well, in the sales thread Forever Is Over has 150k sales, so we could say Notorious has overtaken it already.

Una Healy - Sorry
Raider of My Sleep is a great song. I've had it on my mp3 for a long time now and I never get tired of it.

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
They will climb back when all Amy Winehouse's songs drop out of the top50 throughout this week or the next one. Anyway I'll be satisfied enough when this pass Forever Is Over's sales.
-
Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
So they'll probably catch Forever Is Over this Sunday! :yahoo:
-
Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Same old story: this is #31 on the official charts this week...so close to top30!
-
Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Are those official sales charts or airplay charts...of an specific radio station?

All Fired Up (2nd Single Thread)
I don't want to repeat myself around forums...I'll just say this is The Saturdays at their best. You know a song is good when it works at perfection, even if it has a really strange structure. I thought Ego was their finest work, but this has destroyed their previous standards. Una's verse is just IMMENSE.
