Not at all. A #1 on iTunes for the whole week might get you inside the top30/20 of the official top 50 singles. Its importance is increasing but this will mainly serve to their team that they have a fanbase in Spain, waiting to spend their money on them, and to Spanish radio stations that the audience like the group and they could try and play their songs. So it's important in the long term. Edit: Up to #39

If you check their Youtube stadistics you'll see Spain is one of the countries where their videos are more popular. Including flips and documentaries. All in all, Spanish iTunes sales are REALLY low, so it isn't hard at all to get a high position.

Notorious is out now on iTunes Spain, France and Australia. Although I didn't checked other European countries. The Sats start conquering the world!! Yesterday you couldn't buy it, but now it's completely available.

#imnotorious is been TT worldwide all the evening, because they are answering questions on twitter. I guess that's a way to promote.

If they've got to #6 they can get to #5. It's really close. Edit: Notorious is also out in Australia. Although it's the same problem than in Spain: it is in the Store, but when you try to select it says "The item it's not available". Maybe they got it out too early? No sign of it in France, Germany or Belgium.

The girls said in an interview for Digital Spy that they are releasing Notorious in Germany and Europe instead of Higher. OH MY F-ING GOD Notorious is on sale on the Spanish iTunes...although when I click on it says it's not available. I guess they are uploading it and is just a matter of time. I didn't see it on the German Store though.

What a great interview! Now I'm so excited about the album! This sounds like the big step forward that Wordshaker tried to be.

Oh what a nice surprise that #8! I just connected now to iTunes and when I didn't see it at #10 I checked the lower positions, as I though it was probably going to fall.

When you use the autotune to distort your voice it's not because you need it, but because you want to use it for a matter of style. Notorious isn't that big change for them. It really sounds very similar to Up. Only better produced. It's at #10. They passed Gaga.

They could use some sort of advert on iTunes.

Also, this got its peak on Irish iTunes. It's #18 now.

We can't take anything for granted when they're doing almost on air-on sale. This is so much different than previous releases.

Now #23 on Irish iTunes. Climbing slowly but steady. Well, slowly comparing with the last hours, but being near top20 in a few hours is impressive.

The good thing about this is that Notorious and the second single can make new buyers to buy their previous albums like Headlines.

Did they specify that Higher would get an European release? I only catched that they would go to Germany and Europe in general. I'm so excited about the arena tour!! It's finally going on!

It would've been SO AMAZING if the lift would've taken them to the 10th floor...given this is their 10th single.

I've ripped the audio from Vevo. I'll PM it to you. I LOVE the video. It's easily their best to date. Amazing cinematography and they attitude is great. The song is definitely a grower. It's catchy but not too obvious, so it doesn't get burned off at the first listens.

The girls have confirmed this on Twitter. They will be interviewed by Chris. Also the video will premiere along the morning, on VEVO and the official website.
