  1. All things considered, she did according to what could be expected from her. She's never done this type of professional dancing before and she started our with a difficult style. Now it all depends on whether she progresses enough or not.

As much as I like Stay My Love, I voted for Back To You. It's a great pop song that manages to also be incredibly personal and intimate. All three singles are great, actually.
  3. I finally got to listen to the song! Thanks to a Saturdays fan in Mazedonia: kZD5NCb7dRM
  4. I don't know why, but In Case You Didn't Know it's shooting up on Irish iTunes today. #32 right now.
  5. Yeah but as it's only been released in the UK/Ireland, it redirects to the solo version for me.
  6. No, I couldn't find it on neither Youtube nor Soundcloud...but I'll figure it out somehow ;)
  7. Apparently Brett's album (UK edition I imagine) launches on October 6th, so I imagine the label will focus all the promo around that time.
  8. This is from the official SCD Youtube Channel. g9i-VPztRI8
  9. No, it seems it has only been released in the UK and Ireland. Yesterday it was blocked, and today it just plays the solo version.
  10. If someone finds a link to listen to the song from outside the UK please share!
  11. Too bad that Spotify counts the plays of the solo and duet versions together, so we'll never know for sure the impact of this release.
  12. Brett hasn't even tweeted about his song being out in the UK. They are obviously/hopefully saving the promotional push for when he goes there to tour with Lady Antebellum in October.
  13. #77 in Ireland and #198 in the UK according to Kworb. They don't seem to be pushing it too much, as it's not even on the New Music Friday Playlist. They might be saving that spot for the album's launch. EDIT: I see now that the album is already available in the UK, only that this is the single version...then I guess they'll promote it when he tours the UK in October with Lady Antebellum.
  14. Nadine's is hard to find because she goes now under just her first name and not 'Nadine Coyle.' For Una's track, just get on her profile, as it's highlighted as the artist's pick.
  15. I can't listen to the song because it hasn't been released in Spain
  16. It would also be great if this duet version is also released in the US. Even if they don't promote it over there, it might introduce her to a new audience.
  17. Well, it's a whole different situation for each artist, but I guess comparatively Una is a better fit in this particular market. Una has been doing lots of gigs, while I don't know how many opportunities would Kimberley have to tour her musical covers album. The solo version is pretty 'massive' on Spotify, with 54 million plays, which makes me think the label will make a big push for this in the UK/Ireland. This could be a huge opportunity for Una. As much as I love Una, yeah, it's an interesting choice. I'm guessing they wanted someone who would have planty of time to promote the single along with Brett, and maybe they have some label connection, so they also benefit by promoting Una.

She's visiting Sunday Brunch this weekend, so it seems like they are starting with the promo for the single. Also, Stay My Love is now the most played solo-Saturdays song on Spotify.

Girl, you already have a (very good) single out. But I get the point.

I think for this kind of genre the way to go is a constant flow of live shows, a more long term effort rather than some quick massive promotion. But she is doing the work: She was a solo show in London on the 15th, then she's joining Sam Palladio at his own gig in Nashville on the 17th, then headlining a festival in Northern Ireland at the end of the month...and all that while promoting Battlelines. One step at a time!

Yeah it's a simple video but very well done. And probably more expensive than Stay My Love, which is a very good sign that the label is happy with her. The production sounds slightly different from the album version, I can't wait to have it on Spotify.
  22. I think it was printed on all of the CDs! All of the people who bought it at the time had it that way.
  23. The difference is that one was sold just as a standalone single, and the other shared sales with the album. Which makes impossible to clearly measure the impact of each song. One charted at #99 on the singles chart (which is pretty hard to enter nowadays), and the other sold a #28 album in the UK and #11 in Ireland.
  24. Stay My Love has passed 1 million plays on Spotify. Pretty nice feat!
  25. What a disgusting article.
