I was so excited when I heard they had made a remake or "reimagination" (as they put it!) of the seminal cult 60s phenomenon. I was quite disappointed. It was soooo americanized it lost its magic. :( The brilliant thing about the original was that it was so kitsch even the music was genius! It had a seriousness to it, filled with "oh my god that is so unbelievable" moments. That's what made it SO GOOD! I loved that posh british diction! This version is too serious 4 me. Whilst it retains some original features like the bubble border security, it fails to give that something extra that the original did. Saying that, I was impressed they matched the storyline and title of the episode. Good job but it wasn't quite there!!! PS. Sir Ian is perfectly cast as Number Two and Jim Caviezel is HOT HOT HOT!!! :P
