Still believe Sticks and Stones is the right choice for a 3rd single, just it's Someone Like You vibe would sell albums. But this isn't that bad, it's just that if Lucky Day flopped that was more instant and catchy than this then this will too! Hope i'm wrong! :( I'd love a 2nd album but unless she does at least 100,000 albums in the UK that isn't gonna be with Universal records it might be on her own record label....!?

I've read all your points everyone and what you say makes a lot of sense! Think i may just leave it, think i was feeling angry last night, can't beleive i wrote those words!! Didn't realize it was such a strong category, i must have blocked Example, Ed Shreen, and Dappy out. I think Dappy would have to release a album to get nominated i heard that's the rule - a brand new studio album. It does seem that it may be Example, Ed Shreen, James Morrison, Noel Gallagher, and Will. I'm sad now i've realized the competition and there's no way they'd ever not give it to Noel they really like Oasis don't they! :( James Morrison yep i think you're right has less a chance then Will. It's Ed v Example v Noel. Will's fourth, oh crap! :( He's won my award for Best Male for the last ten years if that helps ha ha ! :) Yep think i'll leave the petition. If only there was more of a generic topic or board on the Brits website asking who everyone wanted to perform and we filled it with lots of Will. I think in hindsight a petition would reek of desperation, and even if he was asked to perform i wouldn't want Will to think he only got it coz of that petition. He's got a shot at best male and a better shot at performing then some years. He is liked coz they keep nominating him I heard this was the voting system The Brit voters vote for the category. They pick who they want nominated. So lets say 20 people choose Will, 60 choose Noel, 2 Matt, 3 Olly, 40 Example, 64 Ed and 18 James I'm 1 glad he's not up against Adele. The Brits would then announce the nominees as Will, Noel, Example, Ed and James. Then the Brits DO NOT vote again for the winner. They use the original votes to announce the winner a month later from the original ballots that where used to decide the nominations. So they would announce Ed the winner and that's it. So no one sits round like the Mercury going who shall we give to... it's got the most first place rankings and sadly i think Will or any reality is never gonna have that. I think Will's got a shot for Best single nomination for Jealousy coz airplay & sales have been good. I think for Best British Album nomination would mean alot. but a boyband will win that for sure. So i'm gonna calm down now and watch ''Come On'' again! :) for the umpteeth time. I really do think they should change the categories around every year. We always get to vote for Live act, breakthrough and single. How about they take those categories back to panels and we vote for Male, rock act and album this year. I think Will could win then!! I was concerned coz i know Will only does an album every year 2-3 years now and he's lucky he's not up against Robbie this year and i thought he had a shot. Oh well. Go Will! he really has had a great year and it was unexpected which was even nicer :)

I am awful at organising things like this. But it should read something like this. Dear Organisers of the Brits. Will Young for 10 years has proved brilliantly that he is a unique talent with a powerful voice fitting any era with eight million record sales and five top 2 studio albums it is bemusing why he hasn't been asked to perform at the Brit stage so far despite winning two Brit awards voted for by the public and receiving five nominations for Best British Male to date. We propose that this year to mark the tenth anniversary of his career, and to acknowledge the No.1 airplay hit of Jealousy and his Number 1 album Echoes a performance like he deserves. It's sad that in the moment acts have earned performance slots whilst Mr Young's talent has been ignored. We hope you put this right this year. There's no doubt Will should win Best Male this year, perform and get the acclaim he so rightly deserves. The Undersigned. On a personal note Male solo artist - no ROBBIE this year. If that f***ing James Morrison wins this year i am gonna be FUMING. He's very over-rated not as talented, and bait up himself, he pissed me off three years ago when he said he was happy to lose to anyone but Will Young. They let Paul Weller, Daniel Bedingfield, James Morrison, Anthony and the Johnsons and The Street win over Will. I think with NO ROBBIE this year Will's got a good shot this year. Bruno Mars is International and it's basically James Morrison v Will Young right?! All Will's got to do is have a massive year - so basically the album and single need to storm the charts this Christmas just before votes are cast. I really do ''Come On'' should help - great song, great video - a video by the way not many other solo artist (male) could carry off. I can see Olly Murs nominated, he'd never win though but i'd be really annoyed if they choose 'in the moment' acts again. Will was HUGE in the Leave Right Now year, and they didn't give him a slot. But Leona got it when she was massive. JLS performed Beat Again straight away. Poor girls aloud had to wait 6 years to get their chance, is Will do his? I'd be really annoyed if they ask Take That, The Wanted or JLS back it's really not fair. I want this petition to get notice from the Brit organisers in time when they announce who will get these slots when announced in January. Then we can forward it to Will's record company, management, press/media, and the Brits organisers hopefully realising that the demand is there. Oh and i know it could backfire, so before we proceed i'd like people's opinion - is this a good idea or bad.

OH MY!!!!!!! Music video..... *goosebumps* Too right, no one makes a music video like Will young. Without trying captured the emotion, meaning and beat of the song. Great video. I had a few other alternatives in mind but this will do. Replays so many more times than i already have. Annoyed the views aren't near what some other artists are getting. 8th week in the Top 15, not to be sneezed at. 210k sold? of the album and we've still got Christmas, and a 2nd and 3rd single to go as well as the tour? I think Will's gonna do 500k minimum. So happy for Will.

Has anyone ever performed in the same year on Strictly AND X Factor. I thought you could have either the one or the other. I do think Will deserves to perform Come On on the X Factor this year and gets a No.1 song with this song. I can't believe we live in the UK music scene where The Wanted and JLS can churn out any old crap and get to No.1 whilst this song can't do it. I'll be mega mad if Will doesn't get to perform at the Brits this year, gets nominated and wins. He's had a great year with the better than expected success of Jealousy and Echoes in terms of sales and airplay. I like Come on alot. It was my instant fave song on the entire album when i heard it, it's for me ranked across one of the best things will has EVER done from his career, and me liking everything since day one thats a big statement. Hope Will performs at the Brits with Come on with a combination of the lights from the special and the dancers from Strictly and belts ''this is long overdue''

My opinion on the album just thought i'd post it, i've finally listen to the whole thing and had it on constant play since Jealousy (My rating - 8) I didn't like it at first, and i still don't think it's the best thing he's ever done which is often what i say when i hear a new lead single from Will. It's grown on me, i am still not crazy about the video concept but no one can deny that it's done well because it really has, the airplay and sales have been amazing and it's stood it's own against some big releases in the singles. I think if this continues and airplay continues he might just get into the Brits Best Single race which would be amazing. I really like the verses but the chorus to me slightly less. It's a good song none the less and it's really grown on me. Really makes sense when you listen to it alongside the album and it is the obvious first single. Come On (My rating - 10) One of the best songs he has ever done. This is the sort of song i've always wanted to do since he won all those years ago. I really like everything about the song, the massive chorus, the great performance on the Brits. I've had this song on constant play and i think it's a brilliant second single choice. For me, it's up there as one of the best things he's ever done even though he didn't write it. Lie Next To Me (My rating - 8) I wasn't sure at first, but i really like the second verse ''i'm leaving, i said i'm leaving'' and the beginning is amazing too. Really like this now, not as much as the two songs that precede before it but i get the meaning now and lyrically it's quite strong and emotion. It's a perfect 3rd single choice. I Just Want A Lover (My rating - 5) I don't like this song very much. It's my least have song from the entire album, but i still think it's alright, but not amazing AT ALL. It's a bit repetitive and goes no where, and it's like the same two lines over and over again. Reminds me bait off All I Want off the third album, but that had more for me. Love from Let It Go followed this repetitive thing and i wasn't crazy on that either. Runaway (My rating - 7) Yeah i like this, the chorus is good. Very catchy, love the instrumental playing in the background. It's not single worthy but it's quite nice. Does get stuck in your head though! Outsider (My rating - 7) Felt a bit weird, almost as if it didn't fit in with the other songs on the album as it's less electro than the other stuff so sticks out like a sore thumb. But then again, i like the song a lot, the first verse is amazing and Will's voice and vocals are top notch. I do just feel maybe this would have been a better ender than Safe From Harm and that could switch places with it. Silent Valentine (My rating - 8) Amazing. A possible single. Really like this song now. The meaning, the delivery, it's gentle beat and how it's structured is perfect. Suits Will perfectly, really really like this. Losing Myself (My rating - 9) I really like songs like this. Love the chorus, and suits Will to a T again and the lyrics are good too. Very very catchy, sticks in your head. Personal Thunder (My rating - 9) Possible single choice. Really really like this. One of my face's off the entire album. Great chorus, the intro is just amazing too. Love how it begins slowly and then goes all mid tempo. One of my faces. Hearts On Fire (My rating - 9) Reminds me of a Kylie song On A Night Like This i don't know why. Really liked the John Ross performance too!, great song. Potential single for me. This song screams quality to me. The production is really amazing on this song. Happy Now (My Rating - 8) Really like the calming and nice chorus. Fits Will's voice perfectly. Really relaxing listening to this, and like the dark chorus. Another fave! Good Things (My Rating - 6) Great chorus, the verses are a little meh - but it's a grower, have a feeling i might like this after! Safe From Harm (My Rating - 6) It's almost like Runaway part 2!!? Not the best ending to a Will album, but the end instrumental makes it. It's a nice ending, but i'd have preferred Outside as the ending. Not as original as some of the other songs. Again amazing production. Overall opinion I really like it - i was worried about not liking this dance-electro-pop stuff, but the albums very good and screams quality. The artwork is amazing i really like having my copy in my hands!! It's not Will's best ever album but it's up there. Well done Will, 19, Sony BMG and Team Young on another brilliant album. My request? Let's do more than 3 singles for this album...the gems need to be seen by the masses. Have a feeling this could be a huge seller when all the overall sales come in sometime next year. My fave Will albums in order (Except the hits) 1. Friday's Child 9.5 2. Keep On 9.2 3. From Now On 8.8 4. Let It Go 8.6 5. Echoes - 8.4 But saying that i still think it's a brilliant album :) Well done Mr Young.! :)

Just thought i'd add my thoughts on Echoes :) I bought the album of course! :) I've got all Will's albums and singles so i couldn't wait to get this. I hate that he won't ever do a CD single again seems odd not having Hopes and Fears, Jealousy in my collection. The TV special was amazing, and boy has he promoted this it's been tough keeping up with Will all over the tv and radio! but Kate was so the right choice as presenter with their PI extra history. Great show. My thoughts on Jealousy I slated it quite hugely a few months back. I thought the song was average, and i didn't like the video.... well now the song has grown on me - i thought it was good before but now i think very good but it's still not amazing like some of the other lead singles have been. The video i get what they where going for and it's obviously worked but i can't say i like the concept too much. Echoes No.1 I was SO HAPPY for Mr Young when i heard he was inline for a Number 1 album, no artist deserves it more, i was elated for Will :) he's deserved every hit album. I was thinking he may decline this year as it's hard to keep the interest up after so long in the music world but he's certainly done it and the credit goes to Will himself for yet again making another brilliant decision. I still am not a huge fan of dance music but listening to the album has made me realise this is just the same old stuff i've always liked with some more oomph. What do i think of the album!? Amazing. Best album of the year so far for me. All his albums have been nothing short than amazing. Being a fan from day one i never expected anything less than amazing and i'm impressed. It's a great album. Screams quality and substance just like the singer himself - Well done Will another brilliant album. Come on is the next single!!? YES! Brilliant choice. That song is amazing and suits Will's voice perfectly. The special was amazing but the performance of that song was something else. I can only think it's gonna help him sell many more albums and singles as well. I was stunned Jealousy did so well but it's so deserved because's Will's amazing. I don't think Jealousy is the best ever Will song i've ever heard but it's good enough and well done Mr Young and another Top 2 studio album, and a top 5 single - the first in 5 years. I have no more words! a brilliant album i'm gonna constantly play. I just want him to get that Brit award for Best Male solo artist now, he deserves it - a performance on the Brits of Come on like he did in the special would be good too. It was most amusing watching Radio 1 change quarters and start playing Jealousy after it become obvious it's a hit, they where snubbing it before TUT TUT. A third single's a tough choice, but i think there's plenty of viable options as the case on all Will albums. Cannot wait another yet flawless album, but this one Mr Young is another masterpiece.

How where Will and Kate interacting, any stories about them would be much appreciated - i can imagine most of the fun maybe edited out! :rolleyes: I'm bait annoyed that All Time Love, Evergreen and You And I weren't considered. I would replace Changes with All Time Love 100% sure.. But he's got so many great songs it's tough to decide. I personally think he was referring to Gareth in the early years, jealous not of talent but jealous of the attention he was getting when Will won fair and square and even then Cowell and Co prioritised Gareth. I think Kate knew this....and thats why she kept asking! Any anecdotes about Kate and Will..........please - they get on like a house on fire right!? :lol:

I'm torn between buying the normal version of Echoes and buying the deluxe version with the DVD.... I'll get both eventually but i have to choose one for now..... Of course as a major fan from day one, i want this to be Number 1 but after the performance of Grace, Let It Go and Hopes And Fears as singles i question his current viability as a singles artist even in this new direction and by not making the single available in the physical format i question it further (obviously i want the single for my collection but i cannot have...) I predict a Number 1 album with a top 10 single. But how brilliant and how deserved does the best male solo artist IMO (ahem Mr Williams) deserve another Number 1 single and album.... and how great would it be!

WOW annoys me that you cannot buy a physical copy of the single artwork They've done so well with the artwork - looks so sophisticated! :wub: Cannot wait to hear the song! and buy the album and single. Am i the only one though who likes both artwork BUT wants to trade the single artwork with the album. I think the album artwork suits Jealously better and the single artwork suits the album better. WELL DONE! this campaign is top notch so far....really liking the new font & new sophisticated look!
