Just thought i'd add my thoughts on Echoes :) I bought the album of course! :) I've got all Will's albums and singles so i couldn't wait to get this. I hate that he won't ever do a CD single again seems odd not having Hopes and Fears, Jealousy in my collection. The TV special was amazing, and boy has he promoted this it's been tough keeping up with Will all over the tv and radio! but Kate was so the right choice as presenter with their PI extra history. Great show. My thoughts on Jealousy I slated it quite hugely a few months back. I thought the song was average, and i didn't like the video.... well now the song has grown on me - i thought it was good before but now i think very good but it's still not amazing like some of the other lead singles have been. The video i get what they where going for and it's obviously worked but i can't say i like the concept too much. Echoes No.1 I was SO HAPPY for Mr Young when i heard he was inline for a Number 1 album, no artist deserves it more, i was elated for Will :) he's deserved every hit album. I was thinking he may decline this year as it's hard to keep the interest up after so long in the music world but he's certainly done it and the credit goes to Will himself for yet again making another brilliant decision. I still am not a huge fan of dance music but listening to the album has made me realise this is just the same old stuff i've always liked with some more oomph. What do i think of the album!? Amazing. Best album of the year so far for me. All his albums have been nothing short than amazing. Being a fan from day one i never expected anything less than amazing and i'm impressed. It's a great album. Screams quality and substance just like the singer himself - Well done Will another brilliant album. Come on is the next single!!? YES! Brilliant choice. That song is amazing and suits Will's voice perfectly. The special was amazing but the performance of that song was something else. I can only think it's gonna help him sell many more albums and singles as well. I was stunned Jealousy did so well but it's so deserved because's Will's amazing. I don't think Jealousy is the best ever Will song i've ever heard but it's good enough and well done Mr Young and another Top 2 studio album, and a top 5 single - the first in 5 years. I have no more words! a brilliant album i'm gonna constantly play. I just want him to get that Brit award for Best Male solo artist now, he deserves it - a performance on the Brits of Come on like he did in the special would be good too. It was most amusing watching Radio 1 change quarters and start playing Jealousy after it become obvious it's a hit, they where snubbing it before TUT TUT. A third single's a tough choice, but i think there's plenty of viable options as the case on all Will albums. Cannot wait another yet flawless album, but this one Mr Young is another masterpiece.

How where Will and Kate interacting, any stories about them would be much appreciated - i can imagine most of the fun maybe edited out! :rolleyes: I'm bait annoyed that All Time Love, Evergreen and You And I weren't considered. I would replace Changes with All Time Love 100% sure.. But he's got so many great songs it's tough to decide. I personally think he was referring to Gareth in the early years, jealous not of talent but jealous of the attention he was getting when Will won fair and square and even then Cowell and Co prioritised Gareth. I think Kate knew this....and thats why she kept asking! Any anecdotes about Kate and Will..........please - they get on like a house on fire right!? :lol:

I'm torn between buying the normal version of Echoes and buying the deluxe version with the DVD.... I'll get both eventually but i have to choose one for now..... What's the difference....different artwork? Anyone know what's on the dvd....pardon my ignorance! Cannot wait to pre-order the album.. :)

Of course as a major fan from day one, i want this to be Number 1 but after the performance of Grace, Let It Go and Hopes And Fears as singles i question his current viability as a singles artist even in this new direction and by not making the single available in the physical format i question it further (obviously i want the single for my collection but i cannot have...) I predict a Number 1 album with a top 10 single. But how brilliant and how deserved does the best male solo artist IMO (ahem Mr Williams) deserve another Number 1 single and album.... and how great would it be!

Just thought i'd add my thoughts on this Utterly brilliant :yahoo: The first thirty seconds gave me goosebumps! Nice chorus, it really grows on you. Wonder if he'll get radio support this time round, me thinks he will. Everyone seems to be praising everywhere i have looked, it's a great launch for the new album Really liking it now, really dark and atmospheric. Will never lets down with lead singles - never! (apart from Switch it on LOL) Cannot wait to buy album & single Go Will! :bounce:

Ooooh great artwork for the single and album!!!! WOW annoys me that you cannot buy a physical copy of the single artwork They've done so well with the artwork - looks so sophisticated! :wub: Cannot wait to hear the song! and buy the album and single. Am i the only one though who likes both artwork BUT wants to trade the single artwork with the album. I think the album artwork suits Jealously better and the single artwork suits the album better. WELL DONE! this campaign is top notch so far....really liking the new font & new sophisticated look! Super excited now for this...6th album & lead single who's have thought it hey!! :music: :music: Cannot wait to hear it, just hope it's not too dance music as i don't like the Calvin Harris type stuff, i'd like a bridge between his last studio album stuff and a move towards a more upbeat style but not totally full on like Calvin does.

I know Kate's always said that she is still in touch with Will as says on Loose Women Watch these- BUT I noticed abit of distance on this new years special, Will seems abit taken back by it. Like when Will finishes Daniel with Elton and she comes to interview them, she doesn't even hug or greet Will. I may be reading into nothing, but it's a massive comparison from when Will was on ITV2 last Has Kate changed? - i remember her being really bubbly and goofy on ITV 2 popidol extra but she was abit stale and mellow on X Factor on and now, it's like a different person! Will i think expected i over top Kate, but was taken by bit abit Look at 4:44, she looks Will in the face - and Will seems abit stunned she didn't greet him.. Maybe i'm on to nothing, just seemed a little odd :arrr:

Matt pardon me for prying! but in your sig you list all the albums you bought last year i note you didnt buy Nadine's album but bought Cheryls! I know you're a mega GA fan so i'm surprised really! it does speak alot about her success though - as alot of the core girls aloud fanbase didn't buy her album for various reasons! :unsure: \ Personally i have always said i would buy solo music from all members and despite not being too much of a fan of Cheryl i have bought her single and album, but i can understand why some people don't feel obliged to, but it does say alot about why Nadine failed - Kim and Cheryl had the support of the GA fanbase, perhaps when Nadine made those sketchy comments in the press it had a damaging affect on the support from the core GA fanbase for her.

I dont think it'll make Top 10 but more Top 15 sadly. Oh it could surprise and be a bigger hit than people think. Sadly Cheryl is the only one who has done well in Solo Aloud. We want the group back! One more solo album from Cheryl and a tour this year or next. Then we want solo albums from the rest including a 2nd from Nadine on her own label without tesco. Then regroup in 2012 and do a 10 year tour and new studio album to celebrate. Then go seperate ways again and regroup after a while. Then in 2013 Justin will ask Kimberely to marry her ;) and then that will be kids and stuff time for them. Good idea, eh?

With all respect, those sales are a tad date as Insatiable album reads 5k and single reads 16k We know that the album has now reached 10k+ as confirmed by Tesco but don't know how much more it's added to it's total but i imagine it's not more than 14k. Insatiable the single defintely crossed the 20k mark a few weeks ago and it could be anything now between 20k to 28kish so i just want a accurate sales update The only way i guess is when Put Your Hands Up comes back and surely that will reenter the album in the top 200 at least (ouch if it does not) and the single should at least re-enter in the late hundreds and so we should get that too. Also, of course Cheryl may need a little support so go ahead, better buying a Girls Aloud solo or group record by any member than a non-girls aloud related record. Besides, i think The Flood is amazing but i guess that's Cheryl's Top 5 run finished now she could never beat Matt and Rhianna for example who are selling tons. However Cheryl has had more success than Nadine. Songs are reduced this week on Mflow to 20p each, so that £2 coupon will get you 10 songs so worth a go I would ask everyone makes one of their ten to be The Flood, Insatiable and Untouchable However, i would add Put Your Hands Up to this but the album is not allowed to be sold outside Tesco digital tut tut

Getting it into the Top 200 would get it's overall sales total known though! which would be interesting....
