I think the idea made sense as pissheads would be coming out of pubs and clubs and different times, rather than out the chucking out time and therefore makes less strain for emergency services and less people around to start fighting with.

I love the way they were all over-marked. Gareth was worth 4.0 on a count of about every lift had an awkward entry/exit and his solo section was so unconvincing. No way was it worth 5.5 Nicky, t*** <_< Suzanne's was really good and was elegant, but there was no connection between her and Matt so was worth about 5.0. Zaraah's was good but Fred can't lift for $h!t and their lifts are always awkward and tentative. Performance in main show seemed desperate - 4.5. Chris' was fantastic, but not flawless and therefore can't be awarded a perfect mark, therefore 5.5.

Yes absoloutely. The threat of being jailed isn't a big enough deterrent for these chavs. Why scrounge around trying to make ends meet when you can be thrown in prison where you have food made for you, access to televisions and games consoles and from what I here, access to drugs? Yes there's a lack of freedom in prison but it has routine and stability. Therefore many of these chavs like the idea of these criminal universities. They can be with people similar to them and learn more tricks of the trade. Prison in itself doesn't re-habilitate prisoners anyway. Maybe these chav scum will think twice about killing people for 'fun' if they would lose their lives as a consequence. If they can take someone else's life then surely that constitutes for them to lose their own life?

No its more of the police force's job. Its harder to just take fags off kids when they have no ID on them. At least this way their age can be proven on the spot.

From the government's pov they'd rather chop down more trees than have smokers clogging up the NHS system. It is more common now that when trees are cut down, new ones are planted. If it keeps people from having to go hospital then its worth it, especially with more immigrants coming in. I suppose you could then argue that the less trees there are, the less CO2 being taken from that atmosphere and replaced with fresh oxygen :lol:

Hmm I don't really get why people in general think that artists have to write their own music, otherwise its no good :rolleyes: I think she could make her underrated album big with Sober, but it's highly unlikely her label will release it over here after two failed attempts in the US. I did comment in Kelly Forum that her label should be more daring and release something different as the Kate Nash-Adele-Lily Allen alternative style is selling in the UK and is award-winning.

I think it is a good idea for the reasons I listed. I don't really get how it will increase bureaucracy, so you'll have to enlighten me?

Children will have their fags taken off them. Throw in a fixed penalty and they might start thinking twice about getting siblings to get them fags. It also could help cut down on the number of siblings getting the kids fags. Not all people who get kids fags smoke themselves. They're hardly going to pay a tenner a year just to act as a fag-purchasing service.

I think this is a good idea. Underage kids can be challenged and these kids won't be able to churn out fake IDs as easily. Althought it won't stop people from smoking, I thibk it will discourage some people from even starting in the first place and may motivate people to quit.

This is a good deterrant for young people. I do agree that it could divide the young and the old and their are far more rooted problems with the 'hoodie culture' which need to be addressed. However this is a good way of keeping kids away from certain areas, in particular crime hotspots. People should be able to get a pint of milk at 10pm without kids hanging around outside shops either asking for adults to get them fags or booze. Just standing there can be intimidating to people of all ages. This scheme would be better complimented, however, if there was more for kids to do. At a younger age, myself and friends did find ourselves hanging around on streets because there was no-where for us to go. Teenagers don't want to stay in, they want to go out in the evenings with their friends and younger teenagers need a place to go.
