This seems to have been well advertised in India as well. I do like physicals, they always seem better quality. I wish they'd gone ahead with the blu-ray

I don't like that they took the song after 'I'm Coming With You' out. All 4 were singing and I thought it worked very well. The trouble with the beach scene is that a lot of people don't know the people were in the club above the beach and couldn't see the bay at all. 'Something In Return' was cut in a place that moved Darius and Rebecca to the barrack room - which isn't were they were at tt the beginning. I'm just being picky though. I really like having the dvd - I'd just have liked the other quartet song and a scene done differently. TGhe cast could have sung the backing from off stage and left the lovers in peace

Darius still has one film going the rounds. It is off the musical which took up about 12 months of 13/14. He played Milt Warden in the West End musical of 'From Here To Eternity. Before that he had a tour with The Big Band sound. and there are various clips of his performances there on Darius Campbell Archive and News on facebook and also on youtube. He also played Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind - also in the West End. I think that was my favourite musical of all time. It was - the males seemed to enjoy it as much as the ladies. I just wish they'd done a film of it. It didn't get good reviews mainly because of the initial length of the show but the length was reduced and by the beginning of May it was fantastic. He appeared in Popstar to Opera Star - and won, Performed in the opera Carmen and was in 'Hotel Babylon in Britain and was cast as the Beast in the ABC US TV version of 'Beauty and the Beast. He has played Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He had some runs in 'Chicago' as Billy Flynn A lot of the time he lived in America. He's done loads of individual things on both sides of the Atlantic. Thank you for asking. I can't wait to see what comes next. It'll b easier on the site when he let's us know exactly what he has decided to do next. Most of the news now is how wide the film of 'From Here To Eternity' is being shown, I don't think any of us thought it would cover so many countries. He still supports the same charities so people still get to hear his sets - just not local to me.

Some talk of a possible gig in Glasgow. I hope it happens

Without people joining in, it's a bit hard. Any news is put up but few people even talk about it

Seems the film of the play is also showing in Moscow. They are saying that the dvd was rushed out and that the extras that should be onit may be on the next release Posted Today, 07:05 AM We had a Russian cinema premiere yesterday. God, how I missed that show! It was amazing to see people applauding after numbers and cues, just as it was in a real theatre. I am a frequent theatre-in-cinema goer but it wasn't like this during some drama screenings!
