Darius will be appearing on itv on the 7,8,or 9th January. I wish I could remember which but we were talking and I don't. I'm looking forward to seeing him with Lorraine. Cast album going ahead.

I was just going to put this up. It doesn't want me to put it on facebook

http://www.broadwayworld.com/article/New-T...ERNITY-20131111 I know we've already seen the trailer but it's good to see it on Broadway world as well

I heard the last few chords of 'Ai nt What I Want To Be' and then her talking about Darius and Tim and that was that. Still good that it was on radio

Another good review - most of them seem to be good http://www.allaboutyou.com/country/blog/fr...-musical-review

Alan gives the appearance of not liking Darius. Doubt that has changed

Have we had this one? http://www.arbuturian.com/2013/from-here-t...ere-to-eternity But the most outstanding member of the cast is Darius Campbell as First Sergeant Milt Warden, who risks years in prison when he embarks on an affair with Captain Holmes’s steely wife Karen played by Rebecca Thornhill. The beach scene anyone who is a fan of the film is waiting for, features actual waves and a passionate embrace many will recall from the scene with Deborah Kerr, who broke her girl-next-door image when she appeared as Karen, wearing a raunchy black bathing costume and kissed Burt Lancaster as the water lapped the shore.

I've always liked him singing in the tenor range. I like the baritone as well. He's lucky to have such a good voice

The only one better for him, although there are better songs for others, was the 'Aint where I Want To Be Blues' which works very well indeed

Maybe with Darius just singing would have been nice

I still think one good song from Darius would help it -I wish he'd not been told that Warden was like an oak tree, I'd like him to relax a little but he always plays as directed

Marking time has always been there. The new song could be called 'America' but I can't see it as being written for his voice. His part in 'Maybe' may have been as it was just Rebecca's to start with. The new one doesn't sound like any of the others

I really thought that as a good review. He's obviously thought about the play and watched it closely. He appreciates all the parts of it, cast and crew but doesn't like the some of the way it's been put together. I think he recognises it's a great piece of theatre but it's not all to his taste. I can appreciate that we don't all feel the same even when we can appreciate how well done something is

Slowish and steady. Not brilliant by itself but well sung and acted and in keeping with the story and it's developments

This isn't really about 'From Here To Eternity' but it amused me http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertai...up-8913927.html

The extra people were behind a see through stage drop but they were a distraction. Darius still comes out of the closet in the earlier scene - it makes me laugh.

What a difference a month makes. Very much tighter and flows very well. It is a very good show. Wasn't keen on the other people shown on stage during the beach scene. I rather feel it should be more private (apart from the hundreds watching in the theatre) The new song probably called 'America' but maybe not was in the last scene in part 1

Answer was from Tim Rice and he should know. The show has changed so much from the first preview. Very strong ans smooth running. Well worth seeing

It's already been sung by Michael Ball but it seemed well received when it was performed in London a few months ago. I hope it is aq success
