I would love that. The film production isn't instead of music but part of his plans which involve both

I'd like more Darius but I'm not a huge Streisand fan. I'd rather see the show than just listen. I like the laughs in 'You are Woman, I am man' which more to it. In fact, I don't like the quieting down of Darius' voice so he accompanies Sheridan rather than sing with her. I like to see the hurt in their performances which just a record can't show in the same way. I really, really hope their is a dvd

I don't think you did but it sounds like someone who doesn't want to like something and has already made up their mind.

Thanks BT - I've shared it with Archive and News. The whole cast was brilliant again yesterday. I hope Darius' back repairs soon - not that you'd notice anything wrong with it
  9. Darius' birthday today. I wish him a happy day and year. Not often he's around on his birthday.

It's always good when people realise how good Darius is. I've only got one more show to see - my husband booked it as a present to me. He hasn't seen it yet. His favourite is 'Gone With The Wind' I wish they'd recorded that one as well

I can't warm to rat-a-tat-tat either. But I loved 'Who are we now?' - much more in the show than the recording which didn't show the emotion that the visual scene did but this review was really of Fanny's role and no one elses

Darius isn't actually involved in the action. Him co-producing it wont give us anything more visible that any other co-producer is. I'm looking forward to the next time he acts or sings more than that - although I know he likes being involved in this kind of thing, it doesn't much apeal to me as something that would make me watch it

He has been asked and he isn't doing it. I'd like to know what his next steps are - I'd really like a new album. I'd like his next project to be somewhere we can see it - GB not just abroad

After a year, I'm not surprised he needs a break. I'm looking forward to the next thing (whatever he decides to do next)

British Theatre .Com review. The bit I liked most in the live performance is ignored by most reviews of the cd Darius Campbell, with a voice that has the smooth vibrancy of Nat King Cole, is definitely leading man material here. His Nick Arnstein retains the sexy integrity he had onstage and his duet You Are Woman, I am Man with Smith is just perfect, whilst Temporary Arrangement comes across brilliantly in this recording ( it’s also the first time any recording has featured this song which was cut from the original production, recorded by Sharif for the film – but then cut again!). Campbell is fast becoming a really credible musical theatre leading man, and this recording builds on that.

Darius wont be touring as far as he knows. The cd is a studio recording and good - I just like live performances better. I have a copy and am glad I have. I love the show as it does really show his acting ability and lovely voice. I hope it isn't too long before we see his next endeavor - hope it's available in GB as well. I've seen this at both the chocolate factory and the Savoy. Well worth seeing in both. I'd love them to do a dvd like they did for 'From Here To Eternity' that would be brilliant news if they did

I still think you need to see it as well

The cd has been dispatched to me from Amazon

Me too. I was a bit worried by the clip they keep playing. Darius' voice was put on the one track that had someone other than Sheridan in it, so quiet that it could be missed - not like it is in the show

https://www.facebook.com/Darius-Campbell-Ar...26276610757175/ I didn't have my usual camera and suddenly realised I was filming him on his side - sorry about that. This was the only unreleased, unrecorded song so was the only one we could make public. I think, by the reactiobn, the whole thing went well, if a bit on the crowded side

Until he was cleared by his doctor he couldn't say he would be back. Yesterday was his first day back and he was fine. A slipped disc is hard to deal with and he was in a lot of pain and uncertain when he'd be allowed to play Nick again. No one can guarantee they wont be hurt or how long it will affect them. He wouldn't deliberately choose not to play the part. https://www.facebook.com/126276610757175/ph...e=3&theater He and Sheridan both look great in this although I read they are still being very cautious with Sheridan. Those who saw him in the 2nd half of the 4th July performance felt he was very brave to carry on and finish as he was in agony.

Darius was still not working yesterday. It was his back he injured - hope he's well enough to return soon

It seems that Darius injured his leg yesterday. One tweet said he looked very uncomfortable. Hope he feels better soon
  25. They've been see around London quite a bit. I've never asked if they are together. Darius was talking about putting an album together and we've heard 4 of the tracks but only performed as acapella
