Lorna Aitken‎Darius Campbell 8 hrs · So, bidding for tickets for Funny Girl yesterday at prince and princess of Wales hospice ladies lunch. I missed out on the winning bid. What does this lovely gentleman do? Asks his mum to give up her tickets to support the charity. Thank you Darius's mum - I can't wait to go to London to see this incredible show! 😍 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=101...e=3&theater Typical reaction from the Campbell-Daneshs

Loved the show (I got a day seat this time only 1 left - just expect to never know if the cast wear shoes or (sometimes) clothes on their bottom halves) The show was as full of life as ever. You (I) still wanted to laugh or cry through it. It is a very moving show. I hope the cd comes soon. I'd love them to do a dvd. Brilliant cast Funny Girl is so lucky having Sheridan and Natasha in it. I knew that Natasha would be good as she wouldn't have been given the understudy post if she hadn't been brilliant. Now she's brilliant and has been seen. Sheridan will never be forgotten either.

No she didn't but I wish people would let her be. She will be better then than when she is being sniped at. I'm hoping she gets well enough to continue in 'Funny Girl' . Natasha is great too but this is something Sheridan has worked towards. Lucky people having 2 so talented women.
  7. It's quite normal for a 35 yr male and a single female to date. I've no idea if they are or not but it would be lovely if they were happy
  8. The tv footage looks awful
  9. Try once more BT. The fires seem unbelievable. I hope everyone is OK
  10. I don't know why that is as I've set them for any one and any where

My facebook is friends only but Darius Cambell Archive and News can be viewed by any one. Funny Girl UK can see the photos - they have facebook though so maybe that makes a difference

There have been so many different requests that he may just make up his mind himself - I think it'll depend to some extent the backing he has in this.

He sounded as though he wasn't going down the 'swing' path. Which, I must admit would please me as I'm not that keen on too much of that kind of music. My mother loves it though
  15. That would be all I can think of BT. I just have Facebook live all the time, but without logging in it still takes me to the Archive and News pages. I just press the 'more' button and that brings up the videos and you can reach them from there. Have you liked the Darius Campbell Archive and News page? I tried again and both take me to Darius Campbell Archive and News You go to More on the level below the pic and choose video and then click the video you wanted I'll try something else to see if that helps Just looked again and the video may be sbowing of the left of the facebook page and you should be able to click it and play it

I think he may already have decided BT. No harm in choosing though as I can always send them on

I like this bit in the last one. But Michael Mayer's loving production ensures it is not merely a solo vehicle for Smith, but also a fully integrated show that has some great chorus numbers (expanded since the Menier), an outstanding Darius Campbell bringing texture and vocal resonance to the somewhat underwritten role of her husband Nicky, and a touching, terrific trio of Marilyn Cutts, Valda Avis and Gay Soper as Fanny's mother and neighbours.

I go with the 'I wasn't there' She was great when I saw her and, if she had been drunk, I just feel it would have been dealt with before the show. The trouble is, things put into print tend to have people believe what was said. My mother thought everything shown on TV or in the newspaper was really true.

Thanks BT. thought his performance was really good. It's a show where all the cast are excellent. The emotion shown was well produced

That would be great, thanks BT - there are a number of reviews on facebook - Darius Campbell Archive and News

Paul heard that it a problem with the lighting. No one was hurt and that was the bit that worried me. It's such a shame that the audience only saw 15 mins of the show and now have to rebook

This site is just so quiet now. I always look in at least a couple of times a day but seldom see any proof of any one else around

I thought the show really brought home how their relationship formed and then failed. So sad. GWTW was the one that made me laugh and cry most though. Bonnie's death was so sad.

eden - the gig is on 2nd July and will take place quite near to the Savoy Theatre. It'll be an hour acoustic session and then listening to new tracks and talking to Darius for an hour or so. Darius and Sheridan have had great review for 'Funny Girl' - in fact the whole Funny Girl team are great. There's hardly ever any one on here but I still post big news. Other forums tend to get more info as they are more active.
