This week.... G.R.L debut on the UK chart selling 26,774 as featured artists on Pitbulls track. Neon Jungle sold roughly 10k with 'Welcome to the Jungle' Little Mix sold roughly 2.5k as Salute enters the charts. No Saturdays this week. :( Little Mix are the only girl group in the albums chart selling about 1.3k. :)

Officially enters the chart at #74! Excited to see how this will perform over the coming weeks.

This might be true for the UK, but possibly not in other European countries (which is what matters if we'd like more votes). I'm unsure of how it works, but with most countries having to compete in the semis to get their act through I imagine their semi final broadcasts get more views than ours. I'm just presuming though...

Thanks for that info, I'm glad Molly did at least something, but we do need to do more. It worked for Jade so I don't know why it wouldn't work again. Unless these countries don't want us on their shows.

That's actually a really good idea, there's effectively 6 automatically qualifying acts so 3 one semi final and 3 the next. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the big 5 stopped either, it would be a massive shame too. Does anyone know if contestants from other countries do a European tour before the show? I remember Jade and Andrew Lloyd Webber visited a lot of countries in the run up to the event and it seemed to pay off. I would like our contestants to do that again and show Europe we aren't really that bad. :cry:

Wow just 21st for us in the UK, I absolutely loved the song so was disappointed with our result, although the performance wasn't as powerful as I had expected. Poor Poland, the jury really slaughter them then. I'm surprised Russia did so well, regardless of the politics behind it I thought the song was kinda weak.

What do people think Wild Wild Love will do for G.R.L? I really would like another PCD group (not 100% sold on them yet though) but I'm a bit pessimistic at this atm. The song is doing great, but I'm not sure it will do all that much for their popularity outside of that song.

We have another girl group currently in the UK iTunes top 10 with G.R.L featuring on the Pitbull track. I wonder what the record it for the most girl groups in the top 10 in the UK in a given year. We currently have had Neon Jungle & Little Mix with G.R.L looking like they might make it soon and the likelihood is that The Saturdays will make top 10 with a lead single for their GH, so we have four atm.

I voted yes but I think it will come down to the song and it will have to be in their top 5 songs yet to get the radio support they'll need. I also wonder if 3 girl groups is too much for Radio 1 now, have they supported Neon Jungles previous three singles?

I think I requested for an update in the Haven sales thread a long time back as I presumed it spent more than 1 week in the top 200 and they would be able to give an estimate, unless I'm remember incorrectly, but I would only update figures from Buzzjack or Haven estimates or official figures from Music week or the OCC and I wouldn't have thought they would have disclosed that one, but it was a while back so I'm not 100% sure now.

Great news, hopefully Capital add it to theirs soon too.
