Salute • Third Single
Mixersss, we’ve got a #LittleMixAnnouncement for you all today. Hope you’re excited! We definitely are :D Leigh x pic.twitter.com/EZqPlBHT5h Not necessarily about the next single, but I'm living in hope. With Word Up! on track to leave the UK top 40 singles and Salute to leave the top 100 albums it would be good timing.

7 of the top 10 are all Salute tracks, that's definitely a good sign. Personally I'm disappointed Little Me is there, I'd replace that with Madhouse and then I can live with the rest of that top 10.

They Just Don't Know Me is one of my favourites on the whole album, would love it to have been a single if it was on the standard version. I think if we do another rate in a years time or something Word Up! won't be so high. :(

'Get Weird' • Discussion
The girls have confirmed on twitter that they are currently in the studio recording their third album. Jade has previously stated they'd love to work with One Republic, Jason Derulo and American producers for this album. Also, they're are tweets stating they're working with 'The Invisible Men', Troy Boi, Anya Jones & Maegan Cottone. Very excited to see what this album will be like after loving their previous two!

'Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits' - Album Discussion
Exciting news! It's awesome that fans can pre-order it with tickets, hopefully that will get them good sales! I really would love them to put in on pre-order on Amazon and iTunes now so people can buy it whilst they are promoting it on tv and radio in the coming week and so on. Really excited to hear the new tracks, fingers crossed they get single #1 right and get a high chart placing for the album in August when sales are a bit down and hopefully a follow up single in the run up to Christmas and boost the album sales wise as fingers crossed, people buy it as a nice Christmas present. The artwork is lovely for it, if that's official and their back catalogue does look really strong when you see it all on the one album! Hopefully this isn't the end of them as they really have had some great moments, but I wouldn't blame them if they wanted to concentrate on being mummys or do something different, but I'll be sad if their sales have forced the hand of the label to call it quits. We'll see though, I have no reason to not believe Frankie at this stage.

Word Up! • Sport Relief 2014 Single
I'm not worried, they've sold over 3million singles world wide and 1million albums, they're leaps and bounds ahead of the current western girl group market in terms of sales and they'll also be making their label a lot of money off the massive amount of merchandise they sell. Word Up! has done poorly, but they can easily distance themselves from it with it being a charity single, like they have with Cannonball. I'm looking forwards to the next single from Salute and them hopefully regaining the support they had around the Move era.

The Future Of Girl Bands In The UK?
What do you all think of G.R.L? They're getting a bit of a break with Pitbulls Wild Wild love track. EAyzpLGBI1E I'm hoping they follow it up with this: 1gSWytkwjwM Not sure if they will break through though, but would love an album from them if that last track is anything to go by, very summery and fun. :)

'Not Giving Up' · Discussion ii
I think this is the first Saturdays song I've not heard on the radio ever. It's no where near my favourite track by them, but I thought it would be something radio would be hammering, especially with the very positive feedback from fans I thought they might give it a try and radio tends to be quite good to them. Fingers crossed they keep it at 59p throughout the release week and their tv promo wakes the general public up to the song existing. You never know, radio may jump on it very late if it proves itself in release week.

Word Up! • Sport Relief 2014 Single
^ I thought there presence in the chart and on a few tv shows may have sparked some interest in them again and made people pick up the album, especially with album sales being so low I sort of expected to see it get back in the top40 for a week or so. Word Up! is now on about 52k after two weeks. I'm sort of gutted people didn't warm to it a bit more, it's a great cover imo.

Little Mix • Salute Tour
Have we discussed in here that they are also doing the Salute tour in theatres in the US? Dates so far: http://www.little-mix.com/gb/events I've just been watching their support set with Demi and they really are improving as performers all the time. Can't wait to see their tour, hopefully it's a lot more mature than the DNA tour.

The Future Of Girl Bands In The UK?
Have Neon Jungle announced an album yet? Braveheart is still ticking sales over and Welcome To The Jungle is doing pretty good on pre-orders, seems to make sense to hit whilst the iron is hot and not make the mistake of pretty much every other girl group of late and release the album too late. They're not my thing, but I'm all for more girl groups, especially as the more there is the harder they'll push each other to step their games up.

Kian Egan - Home
Really happy to see him go top 10! His sales were 8,537 (Thanks Mart!n @ Haven) for those interested! Hopefully it doesn't plummet out all together. He was never going to beat Shane with Shane releasing in November but it's a good achievement! Would be nice to see him release some of his own music though as I'm not really into covers, despite him doing a pretty decent job at it. THIS! I can't wait for Marks album, the small amount of things we know about it are incredible! Also, wasn't Nicky also rumoured to be releasing an album? Not sure if that fell through though.

36,758 for Word Up! in it's debut week! Hopefully it will get 100k+ in total just so they can keep their run of all their songs doing that. :)

iTunes Update Thread.
And thanks again Jonjo! Great to see all the counties update. If you don't mind I'll do a lil update of the UK again. SONGS 11. WORD UP! 103. MOVE 213. LITTLE ME 270. WINGS 715. MOVE 860. DNA 903. CHANGE YOUR LIFE 1231. HOW YA DOIN'? (feat MISSY ELLIOTT) 1345. SALUTE :cheer: ALBUMS 198. SALUTE (DELUXER EDITOIN) 450. DNA (THE DELUXE EDITION) 783. SALUTE I have to say, it really is great to see their singles are nearly always in the top 1500, I know it won't be many sales, but it's good to know that none of their singles have stopped dead, with maybe the exception of Cannonball, but that does creep in every now and then and I'm personally delighted Wings has overtaken it officially and hopefully other songs will catch up eventually.

Kinda nervous for the figures today! Hope there isn't a mini backlash if they don't go top 3.

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
I didn't take to the Saturdays until after their first campaign was over, but their whole first campaign had the individual colour trend and I think it was quite clear what there image was and who they were marketing. I have no idea who Neon Jungle are actually marketing and what their image is. That will probably work in their favour though when trying to get plays on radio but I will be very surprised if they do any better with their album than The Saturdays have lately. From their output so far I can't see anything to give them longevity and have to say I preferred acts like Mini Viva and StooShe who were more successful at this point. But you never know what they might have under their sleeves to break it in big time.
