How good is it to have all five girls back and looking amazing as ever?! Hope this does really well for them! The video is visually stunning, I love the neon lights and the costumes etc but for me it's a very boring video enhanced so on the chorus, even just a different coloured background in one bit and to change the neon lights for water or something... anything. It's a bit of a shame because the scenes are gorgeous I just desperately wish there was another contrasting scene in there to make it less static for me. Still though, I'm excited to have them back and keeping all limbs crossed they get another hit from this.

I really wouldn't mind out of 'Salute', 'About The Boy', 'Boy' or 'Competition', but I imagine it'd be 'Salute'.

So happy about this, in the below interview Jesy confirms they will be recording the video for their next single from the Salute album in April. I'm just relieved they're not ending the campaign yet and that Word Up isn't ending the campaign early. Also in that interview they confirm the rumours about supporting One Direction isn't true also.

Forgot to say that I also really like that the video is going to match the artwork. Fingers crossed they have a dance routine too! It's so good to be excited about The Sats again. :)

Thanks for keeping the thread updated guys! Must admit I'm a lil bit disappointed at the US opening sales for Salute, hope ir can be a consistent seller with the signings and tour.

Thanks for the updates guys, if I've missed any out by accident just give me a shout. :) Will probably re-organize the first post soon, are people happy with it being songs then albums listed by country, or would you prefer it listed by song then the countries. That's explained badly so for example like: CANNONBALL 475,000 UK 10,000 IRELAND WINGS 500,000 US 471,500 UK 210,000 AUSTRALIA Rather than the way it currently is. I think I will try and add a (known) worldwide figure for the songs and albums too, as there's some songs that may be doing better worldwide but not necessarily great in any individual country, 'Change Your Life' is an example of than. Just what ever is easiest for people to find their info really.

I didn't think her diction was that bad there, she's had much worse performances. I feel a bit sorry for her though, she was so overhyped for her first campaign she couldn't put a foot wrong, but not she gets very little attention and her quality of music has roughly been the same throughout, it must be frustrating to know you peaked so young and the struggle she'll face to ever get back to that level. She's a good lil popstar as far as I'm concerned and quite inoffensive, she just needs to keep working on her singing.

Looking forwards to the B-side, I need new music from them, although I'm definitely glad there trying to stick with an album after it's release! Hopefully the b-side as either a Physical only, pre-order only or an album only track to boost the sales of Not Giving Up.

Really happy how well it's performing on iTunes, now it's got #1 it surely be receiving a lot more general interest by people just browsing iTunes. Are there any other charts, shops or US amazon etc. where we may be able to then build up a bigger picture of how well the album is doing?

I think I preferred their Channel 4 documentary's more, they seemed more genuine imo. They don't need a reality tv show to sell their records though, as long as they have good normal promo. I really hope this can put them back on track and get 2014 off to a great start. But I can't see them getting a #1 personally, the albums been out for a long time now and despite not selling in numbers a lot of people interested in The Sats will already know it, I'll be very happy to be wrong though. Crossing my fingers for a top 15 and a very good chart run and sales. I just can't wait to see the five of them back together, I'm actually excited about them again and I haven't been in so long. So can't wait to see this video, they are making it sound very interesting. IF they go up against Little Mix I guess both groups might benefit from it if the media picks up on it and gives both of them extra promo. I don't see the point of them doing it with a post album single though up against a LM charity only single, it wouldn't really mean much either way. If they want to do a Girlband battle they should schedule their new era to start the same time as Little Mix then they can both release their lead singles and albums on the same day, which is likely to be October / November time where they can both really benefit from the media promotion in the best time of year for album sales and start their campaigns off with a lot of publicity. Personally speaking though there's no need to clash single dates and cause possible friction between both groups fanbases and as I love both groups I'd rather not have the chart battle.

I don't get the love for this song, but it does seem extremely popular with their fanbase so I'm glad they are releasing it and I'm looking forwards to the video. So happy Frankie is back, I realised when she was away how much I need her in The Sats to care, will be good to have all five back on form!

A little bit worried Word Up isn't doing much better atm, hopefully the video will give it a boost, they have ages yet of course.

Sigh of relief everyone, they now are back to having all their singles selling over a 100k as Little Me managed it as of last Sunday! It's a shame Move has slowed down a bit, I'm hoping the Sports Relief promotion will boost Move as well as the album and get it on it's way to 400k.

#5 is really good, the album must be doing pretty good so far. I like that they have done so many instant grats and they are high up the chart as I think they're a unknown name to many Americans still and seeing their name in the top 5 in the singles chart on iTunes even if for a small amount of time will be gaining them attention. Saying that, it seems pretty much the full album is going to be an instant grat at some point. I wonder if the songs left over may be single choices. #175 - Word Up [uK] Hope this climbs into the top 100 soon.

I like it, love the accapella start and the break down in the middle-8. Hopefully we get really lively performances and video for this. I can understand why people might be a bit meh when they have amazing uptempos on Salute (as more sport relief singles are original it's a shame they didn't just use their own song), but it will gain them some attention and get a guaranteed hit that also has the plus of doing good for people around the world so it's not a bad thing, plus I personally like the song and their version so I'm quite happy atm.
