Presuming I made no errors doing the calculation the average single sale for each of them is: 1, Little Mix - 261,571 2, The Saturdays - 204,313 3, Girls Aloud - 177,348 Although I'm pretty sure GA would win on the Album front, I don't have all the figures to hand right now though. I hope they don't add a guest rapper on Salute if they release it, the song id perfect as it is and they girls have all basis covered theu don't need to spend the money on getting someone else on board when that money would be better put into. Radio and TV are good to them, they don't really need to rely on others to get them airplay.

All the girl groups releases so far have basically merged into one, the lack of originality is quite starling. Girls Day have by far been the best though, but they were lucky to get in there first.

Awesome choice, I'm so excited to hear this. I was fully expecting to hate the song choice, but I like this. Really interested to hear how they do it. Hopefully we get to hear it soon and the video is as fun as the song lends itself too.

I would say they're just as big if not bigger than McFly or The Saturdays who both have done Sports/Comic Relief singles. They nay not be the biggest pop act around atm, but they're pretty much the biggest pop act around who hasn't already done a single and would do one currently. Sports Relief singles rarely top the number one so I think it's just about a ;little bit more money to go towards the charity and mostly raising awareness.

I feel like 'Little Me' sort of damaged their 'slick R&B' image pretty much as soon as they created it. I'm not saying they will do the sports relief single, but I do think they are a pretty obvious choice, I'm not sure why people don't think that?

I'm also really have they've exceeding the 200k and 300k mark both last week. It's nice to see this era doing well. Move imo deserves to be their biggest seller though so I sort of hope it can get another boost.

I can't decide if I'm dreading this or am quite excited. I really hope it's not cheesy. Fun and tongue-in-cheek is fine, just not cheesy. It might help boost the sales of the album though and people really need to hear how good this album is, so I'm sort of looking forwards to it for that reason alone. That said, the fact this will effect the amount of singles from the actual album is kinda annoying too. Presuming all this is true of course.

It's so cool seeing their songs top 5 on iTunes in the US, I can't wait for the album to be released, fingers crossed it does well, it already looks like it's on track to do pretty well and fingers crossed the Demi tour gets them so new fans. :)

I can't wait to see what they do for this tour, I think arenas will be good for them and they've improved so much as performers over the last year so I'm extra excited. I hope they open with Salute too, it kind of makes sense. Fingers crossed for pretty much all of 'Salute' to be performed, I can't get over how flawless the album is. I'm hoping for lots of pyro-technics and a very visually pleasing show.

That would be so cool! I would love them to get a top 3 in the US just so it could beat DNA and show they are improving. Plus two top 5 albums in the US definitely looks good in their record books. Excited to see what they decide to release over there, I like to think they may try different songs over then than in the UK or at least hoping so as there's so many tracks that deserve single status!

Thanks for the updates guys! Jones I think I might have a figure for Wings and possibly the DNA album from the US and Canada on my other computer, I will check it later and will update the list as well as the sales figures for the UK for this week once we have them in.

I agree, I would like them to have a really long campaign for Salute and release a comic relief song next year, or even a Children In Need song at the end of this year. Sports Relief I believe is the weakest of the three. I am looking forwards to hearing what they come out with but I'm not really for Little Mix doing covers of old dance tracks when they have a perfect pop album ready for the world to love.

Surprised no one has voted for Wings, I wonder if it's a lot of peoples second favourite?

Oh I thought it was a brilliant performance? I was really impressed, I actually prefer it on the smaller stage as they don't actually more around that much on the bigger stage to this song so I usually think it looks like they could have done more, but I thought they did great on the NYE TOTP, Leigh Anne was a little off key with her ablybs at the end, but apart from that I really enjoyed it.

I don't mind that, I'd love Move to get over 400k and any extra push is more than welcome imo. It's kinda cool that they have two songs in the top 20 atm. :)

Are they definitely performing Little Me? Just with it being a year end special I wouldn't blame them for singing Move.

You could very well be right. Topping the XF winners single is pretty incredible, to think of the hype after the show and to be able to sell just as well or even better with a single a year on is pretty good. I would love Wings to get to the 500k mark. I'm quite excited about where Move may end up too as it's selling consistently too.
