  1. I think they have recorded a video for both, but I think Waterfalls is the main song of the two, which is a shame because See Me Like This is a great song and would get much less backlash.
  2. She really does look stunning in the video. Are we getting 'Oath' as a single too? Just wondering if they'll shoot a UK video or just put this one out.
  3. The photoshoot, minus the forest picture, really reminds me of Westlifes Greatest Hits shoot! It looks as though it won't have any actual new songs then, I'm curious as to why they aren't including 'Runs Around' it's pretty good, certainly would have made a good bonus track instead of reusing a b-side.
  4. This is amazing, very 'E.T.' which is a good thing. It's much more mature than 'Wings' too, which will hopefully win back the fans who liked them for their E.T. & Don't Let Go (Love) performances, as I've seen a few people complain their aiming at a younger audience than voted for them, the only thing I can complain about is the 'that's what makes a man, it's not hard to understand' lyric seems a bit clunky. Can't wait for them to perform this though, especially on XF and other big production stages.
  5. Just a quick post to say their single is out on iTunes and it's just 59p, I'm hoping they might manage to get their second top 100 charting song. The album is out at midnight as well, hopefully that will do well as well. Performance on Red or Black: 9ybfwB28qfw
  6. The single has now been added to BBC Radio 1's C-List which is a good sign, just wondering if their two previous did that?
  7. I seem to be the only one but I think the DNA single cover is horrible and looks so fanmade. I really like the album cover and Wings was miles better too. I am really looking forwards to hearing the single tomorrow though, I'm keeping everything crossed that it's amazing as it's likely to get the big promo (Xf etc) so can potentially be huge.
  8. http://i45.tinypic.com/53o3s5.jpg Released: 1st October, 12 Thought I'd set up a thread as I love this group and maybe some other members on here might too? They're gearing up to release their second album on Monday, the first single (released tomorrow) is 'Loving The Sound', you can see the video below. I'm not sure how much promo they have but their performance on Red or Black will be broadcast tonight. Music Video for 'Loving the Sound' DKkAYqglXA4 Official accoustic version of 'Run Around Sue' hKstKkLlL5E You can hear 1m30 previews of each of the songs here. 'Higher' & 'Call Me Up' sound amazing in the previews.
  9. Previews up on iTunes, the whole album sounds very strong, I'm really impressed actually.
  10. Runs Around isn't on the album?! Urgh I said I had a feeling the deluxe would be b-sides at least there's a few new tracks, hopefully the special edition doesn't include anymore b-sides and is actually new material.
  11. They only ever get played by Capital anyway really, they'll no doubt start to hammer it soon as the boys are with Global I believe. The video is alright, the effects are actually really good and kind of saves it from being very boring. The rain isn't bad either. ;) I'm getting a bit worried about them pushing the three guys with the instruments further and further into the back though, I hate this idea that if you're not the lead singer of the band you don't get much air time.
  12. Oh wow, I actually love that, like really love that! They weren't kidding when they said 'if you like the single artwork just wait for the album', I might have to get the physical version of both the single and album just for the artwork (I would of got the album physically anyway). And on a fickle note, they're the hottest 'boyband' out there imo, they're all quite stunning.
  13. The video looks like it's going to be their best yet too. Hooray! Just a note on radio play, these guys would be so screwed if Capital stopped playing them, it's almost all the airplay they get - http://comparemyradio.com/tracks/Lawson/Standing_In_The_Dark hmmm....
  14. I agree Pippa, it looks like it will really pop on the shelf which is good. I suppose the colour scheme does make it look a bit kiddy, had they been grinning it would have just looked cheesy, but the serious looking pictures takes that edge off. I actually really like the cover! I'm hoping the DNA single cover might be a bit darker and edgier, but Cannonball, Wings & now the album artwork have all been good imo.
  15. He is very liked in the North East even if most people wouldn't actually buy his music, I've yet to hear someone say a bad word about him round here, if he comes into conversation at any point you can guarantee at least one person will say 'Aww I love wor Joe'. His music isn't very mainstream so a lot of people who like him might not necessarily like his music enough to buy it or see him in concert, but the general attitude to him is very positive and you can't blame him for wanting to be around that. There's also the point that he is well supported here in the media, like someone said above he's often taking over Metro Radio and stuff like that so it doesn't surprise me that he likes promoting up here. I hadn't realized he didn't really promote anywhere else though and if that's true it's just silly because you're never going to sell albums by promoting in one corner of the country. His first week sales were fine though, he was only 13 copies behind #7. Does he do national radio tours? Airplay would really help him and 'Here's What I Believe' is a good album seller, I'm not sure anyone has really heard it though.
  16. Oh I see, good for them! Although I still think it would make more sense to have put the video up straight away, get some coverage (sites like digital spy would post about the video) and then announce the American dates (if true) and then get more coverage and people probably posting the video at the end of their article, as this announcement could eclipse the news of the video/single which they don't need.... plus I want to see it. ;)
  17. Is there a reason for the big delay between tv getting it and them putting it on Vevo? Looking forwards to seeing it though. And yey for another b-side!
  18. It's all personal opinion of course but I haven't come across a song by him for another artist (not Take That related) that I've liked so it doesn't fill me with very much excitement.
  19. They said it was too late to make the album though didn't they and would be on a re-release later on? I'll definitely not be getting that, Gary's songs for other people are very poor.
  20. I see Lawson as more of an album seller too, but I don't see them being huge (not this era anyway), if because of nothing else, the album market itself is on deaths door, it'll will have to do really amazing to go platinum. Another B-Side from them - good boys! That means we will of heard 10 original tracks by them (8 in studio form) by the time SITD is released: Red Sky, When She Was Mine, Anybody Out There, Still Hurts, Let Go, Standing In The Dark, Die For You, Runs Around & You Didn't Tell Me If the album doesn't include the B-sides, and bare in mind they have a double disc deluxe version, then we're going to get tonnes of tracks from them! The deluxe probably will just be the b-sides though so maybe I shouldn't get too excited.
  21. I've had this album on repeat since I got it on Monday. 'Your Voice' was my instant favourite, 'What Have I Done', 'Mayday', 'Rescue Us' & the single are all really good too. I'm also loving the covers of 'Somethin's Gotten Hold Of My Heart' & 'I Don't Want To Talk About It' which have become two of my most played which has surprised me a bit. This is without a doubt his best album and almost everything I wanted from him! I hope it starts to move up in the mids and gets a good position by Sunday, sales are obviously much more important than a high peak, but with the album market at the moment it's going to be a struggle to get a good total without staying high in the charts.
  22. Ooh I like the artwork, presumably both photos were taking on set of the video like their previous two. I hope you're right about them being on XF, just because I want Standing In The Dark to be big, I love this song. I still find it a bit weird that Aaron is their manager though.
  23. I'm really liking this, I didn't watch The Voice so no idea what he's like, but this song is really quite good. Looking forwards to more from him.
  24. I'm really looking forwards to this, also I'm glad they are going for a slower number this time because they have the vocals to pull it off. 'Wings' is doing really well for them, but they did best on XF when they performed 'Don't Let Go (Love)' & E.T. so they need to get that audience back on board. That said, I hope the majority of the album is uptempo! Fingers crossed the build up to this release runs a lot more smoothly than it did for 'Wings'.
  25. Does anyone know when the video for this is coming out?
