    Two errors affects the singles charts history this week

     

    First, Uriah Heep's 14-tracks album "The Definitive Collection", which debuted at #17 on the Spanish singles chart.

     

    Second, Marianne Faithfull's new album "Easy Come, Easy Go", which debuted at #100 on the French singles chart. But catalog number 3298498144611 is for vinyl LP format of this album, not for single, maxi or EP. Some may think that in this case is the title song on the chart, but French chart still based on physical sales only and she not released cd or vinyl single with this song.

    Australia: "Poker Face" - Second #1 for this song on the official singles charts and also second #1 for 22yo Lady GaGa in Australia. "Just Dance" featuring Colby O'Donis spent one week at #1.

     

    Canada: "Hot N Cold" - Second #1 for this song on the official singles charts and also second #1 for 24yo Katy Perry in Canada. "I Kissed A Girl" spent 9 wks at #1.

     

    Finland: "Kuka Ma Oon" - First #1 for the Finnish rock band Oliver. Their previous single "Ei Vanhene Koskaan" peaked at #4 in 2007.

     

    France: "Ca N'Finira Jamais" - Fifth #1 and the 31st top 10 hit for 65yo Johnny Hallyday in the official chart era (since Nov. 1984), but the first number one he had only in 2002.

     

    Greece: "I Agapi Pou Menei (Polykatoikia)" - Second #1 for 29yo Michalis Hatzigiannis from the album "7". His previous single "Emeis Oi Dyo San Ena" spent 3 wks at #1. Michalis is the second artist which has two #1 hits in digital chart era (since Jun. 2008). The other is Helena Paparizou.

     

    Ireland: "Run" - First #1 for this song on the official singles charts and third #1 for 23yo Leona Lewis in Ireland. Prevoius "A Moment Like This" spent 6 wks and "Bleeding Love" 8 wks at #1. "Run" is a cover of Snow Patrol song which peaked on the Irish chart at #25 in 2006. This week song back at #34.

     

    Japan: "Tsuretette Tsuretette" - Eleventh #1 for the duet Dreams Come True, but first since 1999. First time their came at #1 in 1991.

     

    Norway: "Chinese Democracy" - First #1 for this song on the official singles charts and also first #1 for Guns N' Roses in Norway. Previous they have two #2 on the Norwegian chart, "You Could Be Mine" for 6 wks and "Don't Cry" for 5 wks, both in 1991.

     

    Portugal: "If I Were A Boy" - Third #1 for this song on the official singles charts and first #1 for 27yo Beyonce in Portugal. Previous "Crazy In Love" featuring Jay-Z, her only one song in physical chart era, peaked at #6 in 2003.

    US success

     

    Japanese band Dir En Grey debuted this week at #114 on the Billboard 200 with "Uroboros". This is their first album on the main chart.

     

    Previous their albums "Withering To Death" in 2006 and "The Marrow Of A Bone" in 2007 charted on Top Heatseekers and Top Independent Albums.

     

    The group has also one single success outside Japan. In 2005 their single "Clever Sleazoid" peaked at #15 on the official Finnish singles chart.
