Spotify & Apple Music Chart Discussion
Apple Music: 25. Justin Bieber - Holy (feat. Chance the Rapper) 55. Pop Smoke - Mood Swings (Remix) [feat. Lil Tjay & Summer Walker] 60. 220 KID & JC Stewart - Too Many Nights 63. Sam Smith - Diamonds 220 KID must be getting great support on Apple. 'Too Many Nights' didn't even chart on Spotify and barely made the top 100 on iTunes. And 'Mood Swings' remix coming to ensure it has more longevity on the Official Chart :nocheer:

ACR Status Updates
So Saweetie only just entered top 40 this week and is 2 weeks from ACR. That's interesting. Meanwhile 'Greece' is also two weeks from going on ACR and it feels like eternity :drama:

Kygo & Donna Summer - Hot Stuff
'Higher Love' was one of my 2019 favourites. I wasn't keen on WLGTDWI at first but after listening to it few more times and hearing it on a radio I think it's ok. This is probably my least favourite of the three. It's not terrible but it's not really that exciting after he already released two songs with the same formula.

Sam Smith - Diamonds
This is nice. With all the promotion it should easily outpeak 'To Die For' and 'I'm Ready'.
-
Justin Bieber feat. Chance the Rapper - Holy
It's nothing revolutionary although slightly better than anything from Changes. But still not something I will be listening to.

Sub Focus & Wilkinson – Portals
I wonder if this can do something on the album chart. Wilkinson's last album charted at #41 with 2k in April 2017. Sub Focus hasn't released album in ages. 'Torus' did 8,5k in its first week but that was years ago when he was easily getting top 40 hits so it's irrelevant for making any predictions. Will be interesting to see how it will perform!

Justin Bieber feat. Chance the Rapper - Holy
I don't have high expectations for this tbh

David Guetta & Sia - Let's Love
I've listened to it a couple times so far and i'm still not really crazy about this. It's nice and I like it but it's not my top 10 of the year.

Spotify & Apple Music Chart Discussion
I decided to do some analysis. Basically I checked when songs from the playlist peaked on the Official Chart. If the song has spent more than one week at its peak position then its peak date was when it was at that position for the last time. And it turns out that: 40% of the songs from Hot Hits UK peaked on the Official Chart at least 6 weeks ago 25% of the songs peaked at least 2 months ago

Friday Chart Predictions
The Flaming Lips at number 5 with 2,2k exactly like Hurts last week. They are also going to fall out of top 20 by friday, aren't they :drama:
