Hi all! New here, Im from Ireland, wanted to put my thoughts somewhere!! Have been hearing loads of people complainin since the other night about injustice, but I dont entirely believe in the neighbour voting excuse anymore. Our song was nice but its very dated and bland - the simple fact was that most other countries had far catchier and better songs than us, and thats why we were bottom 3. The likes of Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan had songs that fit into the charts of today - then Ireland seems trapped in a time warp. I felt that even our 'modern day entry' last year was dated. Whoever it was here suggested an internal entry is right - Lesley roy would be amazing, theres no way she'd do it though. We need to forget about our previous entries and about what would fit into eurovision... anyone who wins these days comeswith something fresh and original.
