I have noticed that from / in the 70's and 80's Austalian and New Zealand had some good songs from unknown (means not famous in Europe) singers and bands. Dunga's Brazil reminds me of Johan Cruijff's Ajax Amsterdam from the 70's (not that I lived at that time...)! They don't play the great style of that team but they're winning the games without any problems and no tension + they had no problem in such a hard group - it just reminds me of that old Ajax superiority. They are a favourite to get to the final but I don't think they'll win - it's not 2014 yet. :lol:

@Jared Leto So, then let's compare Lampard and rest with Ronaldinho e.g.! The Brazilian benifited from his team mates at Barcelona but at the national team where he couldn't count on them he played not so well in comparison (and now in Milan too)... And I think it's the same with many English players that they just need their world class foreign mates at their clubs to play that well and that must be the reason why they can't make the same for England! (Or do you really think they're just "only" idiots who lack passion at national side - I mean, come on! It's world cup! What was wrong with it? @Rooney Since years I read or hear that the English would be world class! But I really believe that it's only because of their good foreign players in the PL which make them play good! I don't know why some English are so confident about today's game (I don't mean the papers only...). 1. England were really weak although they had an easy group... 2. Maybe they shot the most goals in the qualification, but tbh (apart from Croatia) who the f... were Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Andorra...?!! Not the best teams on earth I'd say! 3. Before the tournament they hardly won the games against big teams like Spain, Brazil or Holland (in friendlies)... The only point pro England is that they won 2-1 in Berlin last year... (but that wasn't in a tournament and only that is what counts when it comes to Germany)!

But the last time England reached the world cup semi-final (in '90) they also played an African team (Cameroon) before... One big problem why they always being knocked out was - penalties of course - but hard opponents too. They never had an easy way ever and sometimes it was their own fault! For example, Germany reached the final in 2002 and England only QF there... but the only reason was, that England got Brazil two rounds earlier before the Germans... (would they get any other team of the QF at that time - they would have won...)! Now it's the same! If Green wouldn't have done this mistake they would be group winner and then they had the easiest way ever but it's just the other way around and I can't believe that they could win all these difficult games (they were too weak anyway)... @zechhh Germany knew, when Australia made the 2-0, that they only need to make a draw for getting the easy opponents but they still "played" to win the group & get to this "hard way"... and that's a bit stupid to be honest...

Exactly these statistics were the reason why I said right before the tournament that Argentina will win! Brazil's time will be in 2014 "at home" but Argentina are on a high anyway! They couldn't hardly get any better with the squad so it's their time...! About Uruguay, South Korea, USA or Ghana getting into the semi-final... well, it's Germany's and England's fault for that! At least one of them would have got this easy way through these 4 teams to reach the semis... but they failed and now have the hardest way of all tbh...
