Sorry to sound extremely thick but what do the numbers next to the albums represent?

The Ricky Gevais podcasts are good and I like Mark Kermode's film reviews.

Date Movie I turned up to the cinema with my friends not knowing what the film was. It was dire. The ten year old chavs loved it. The fact that they expected us to pay to see that trash was offensive.

I'd say The X Factor is more of a vanity project for the three judges than a talent contest. They spend more time arguing than they do listening to contestants singing and in the auditions bit they showed regular montages of Simon Cowell scowling (not saying anything just scowling) with Kate Thornton going on over it about no one wanting to face 'The Dark Lord' blah blah blah. I'd also like to take this opportunity to express my anger on the fact that Sharon Osbourne is allowed on a television show let alone primetime. GRRRRRRRRR!!! :angry: :angry: :angry:

The ones I remember were covers and not that poppy. The video for 'These Boots...' was the only thing that made that a hit (the film didn't do that well in the UK) and it wasn't easy to sing along becuase it just sounded like a song for her to wiggle about to while we sit embarrassed because we don't look half as good as her (or I defnitely don't). I totally agree with what you said about Britney/Christina though.

Every single she's released here has been embarrassing and wouldn't have done well at all if she wasn't pretty. 'A Public Affair' is great though and I'm hoping for a good album but I've heard a few clips and they weren't very impressive. Not wanting to offend anyone but I think that Kylie is a bit old for Princess of Pop even though she's my favourite and is the most respected here in the UK. Britney is the Princess of Pop for me. There's something about Christina that makes me forget she's a person. She is easily the most talented though and is brilliant but Britney's songs are much more modern and catchy and although I rather Christina all in all Britney's songs define pop more.

Apparently she didn't get the royalties she was supposed to have for 'Stan'.

I agree 100%. I don't like any of her songs and her voice really annoys me.

I hope their cover of Golddigga will be the B-Side. It's on their MySpace.
