Forbes Magazine have just released their Top Earning Dead Celebrities List for 2014 as follows: 1. Michael Jackson - $140 million 2. Elvis - $55 3. Charles Schulz - $40 4. Elizabeth Taylor - $25 5. Bob Marley - $20. According to Forbes, these Lists are compiled through estimates from influential sections of the music industry as follows: "To compile our list we talk to estate managers, agents, music publishers and other in-the-know folks to come up with estimates of what each estate brought in between October 2013 and October 2014. We don’t deduct for taxes or things like management fees." Also, it appears that the Elvis (Hologram) Concerts should be up and running by Spring 2015. Brian

'Heart And Soul' re-entered the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at 166 for w/e 19th July, 2014. It was also a re-entry at 47 on the Top Catalog Album Chart. 'Elvis On Tour' jumped from 18 to 17 on the Music Video Sales Chart. Brian :D

Hi Tilly, I suspect the reasoning behind the change in musical personnel was two-fold: (a) this latest tour was supposed to replicate a typical Vegas Concert from 1970 and therefore audience size was limited to what it was then - around 2000. In doing so it limited the box-office gross compared to the big arena concerts. Therefore it was much cheaper to employ local musicians/singers than the TCB Band/Sweets/Imperials etc. whom I am assured demand large pay packets. (b) The new concert featured was in its embryo stage and was a try out for future productions without the TCB Band etc. as, unfortunately, they are much older now and will no doubt be considering retiring in the not too distant future. The show must go on (as they say). However, the Stig Edgren website still shows that the original version of the concert with the original musicians/singers will continue to play 'selected dates' in tandem with the newer concert featuring younger musicians. I now have my suspicions that the music accompanying the advertisement is not the Elvis track but has been dubbed by the YouTube poster.
