It has just been announced that the EPE/Stig Edgren touring production of 'Elvis In Concert' will play nine concerts (7 cities) in Brazil during October 2013. Cities and dates to be announced. There is a video advertisement for the tour on YouTube but is narrated in Portuguese. Some interesting video from the 2012 Concerts and Exhibition can be seen. Brian :dance:

Sir Cliff Richard would like to record a Cliff and Elvis 'Duets' Album and has already contacted EPE but they appear to have turned it down. He even has the album cover ready. From a recent interview with Ian Gillan of group Deep Purple. How do you define a rock singer? Who in your opinion is the greatest? It’s all very different; I don’t think it’s a science but if you were ask me who had the greatest voice in rock music of all time I would have to say a young Elvis Presley, without a doubt. He was the Pavarotti of rock music. I remember listening to Dame Kiri Te Kanawa a few years ago on the BBC and the presenter asked her who she thought was the greatest voice she had ever heard. I was expecting her to say something like Caruso, Joan Sutherland or Pavarotti, but she said the young Elvis. He touched us all, he got through to us, his personality. Technically he was perfect, his pitch and tone were absolutely wonderful and his sense of rhythm, something came deep inside him that literally did touch us all. That’s a secret of greatness. 'The Classic Christmas Album' is a new entry on The Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at 174 and jumps from 56 to 26 on the Country Album Chart with a 'Pacesetter Award' for the greatest sales gain. As of today (14th November) PFAP is No.55 in the UK Midweek Album Charts. Earlier on it was 41. It has a total print run of 5,000. So far there have been 15 Press Reviews with more to come including one in the Daily Mirror which rated it 5 out of 5. Other reviews have been in the following Magazines (December Issues): Mojo, Uncut and Record Collector. It was also heavily featured in the Daily Mail Online whose demographic is the most suitable for Presley fans. This morning (14th) a one minute video excerpt of the Press Conference + concert footage were shown on ITV Daybreak. There will also be radio plugs for the set as follows: BBC6 Music BBC2 Johnnie Walker - Inclusion in Sounds Of The Seventies on Saturday, 17th November. Brian
