Madonna has had a single on UK top 40 on every year since 1984. However The Look Of Love was released December 1987 and Love Profusion December 2003, but they both charted in top 40 1988 and 2004.

Because of new edition including `Hips Don`t Lie`, Shakira`s album is going to make an awesome jump from #97 to around #6 on this weeks`s Billboard chart according to Hits Daily Double. Anything can happen.

might be. these sales figures are combined only official sales charts around the world. i`m a madonna fan myself, and i know that it has been stated that confessions on a dance floor has sold 7.4 M so far - here the number is slightly under 6 M.

if you had read the message i sent earlier, you would have notices that these album sales are not from 2001 like i misinformed on the title, but starting form january 2003. isn`t shania`s up released earlier than that? so there`s only part of the sales included. same goes to every artist that has released album earlier than 2003 january. :)

You might be right about Shania, but then again, if it`s certified, it`s SHIPPED and it doesn`t necessarily mean that that many people actually OWNS the album. These figures show how much people actually have BOUGHT the album on the countries above.

Or maybe it has been SHIPPED 13 M copies. Record companies tend to count sales on shipments.
