Exactly what I was thinking. What % of album sales in the UK come from HMV out of interest? Based on it being #4 in the mids must mean HMV, Tesco, Asda are the main contributors I'm guessing? Holding thumbs the album debuts top 5 and the single is a non-mover or climbs one place at least, the latter looks a tad unlikely though

Why 6th or 7th? She was #4 so they'll possibly only push her down to #5? :unsure:

Miley said the songs she wrote on the album were about Liam :S They sound a lot more about Nick Jonas IMO... 'Two More Lonely People' has slightly grown on me, but only very slightly. I've also sort-of picked up that 'Who Owns My Heart' is the instant song that grows old VERY quickly...

If Jason Derülo 'In My Head' is rock then Miley's 'Robot' or 'Fly On The Wall' must be heavy metal... :lol:

He is not saying it is not commercial, when she reaches the high notes on PD and 'Robot' her vocals are "slurred" and sort-of electro-fixed which is a little harsh on the ear and not appealing for radio. But it is much more prominent in 'Robot' than PD, I'm sure they can edit PD for radio though...

TMLP is IMO the weakest on the entire album, it is so bland sorry! It really is nothing special, it is basically a rip off of Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone and Jessica Simpson - Come On Over in one song. And if she wants to get her fan base back it must be with 'Stay', on her fan site forums/Hannah Montana fans everybody is just boasting about it and saying its 'The Climb' part 2 etc, it will be huge just look at it on iTunes! TMLP is nowhere near as popular as 'Stay' and 'Liberty Walk' and all 3 appeal to her old fan base, the only song on the album that wont appeal to her old fan base is CBT really!

U.S. radio adores Miley! I still hear TC and PITUSA on an almost daily basis on radio here! The people at radio 1 in the UK just have some pathetic grudge against her, they never support her airplaywise and they just are forever slagging her on the sunday chart shows. If she had the radio 1 support in the UK she would most likely have had the amount of top 10 hits in the UK that she had in the US...

'Robot' is gorgeous :wub: It is one of the 6 11/10-rated songs on the album for me. But I agree with Jark, it has a very heavy harsh sounding chorus (which is why it is shuffled down to the lower end of the CBT track listing) much like Kelly Clarkson's 'Never Again' but that turned out to be a decent hit for Kelly but radio only supported it because it was the lead single from the largely anticipated follow-up to the huge 'Breakaway' era...

You can't say it's a flop (ALREADY :blink: ) by comparing it to her previous material! CBT was #1 on iTunes just like PITUSA and TC but has had significantly less airplay, it is only picking up now and will easily go Platinum ! CBT era was obviously a risk, and it is too early to tell if it has paid off because there is still a lot more singles and promo to come ! CBT is her 3rd highest peaking single to date, I think 'See You Again' peaked at #9 and '7 Things' at #10 and both were also lead singles! She is doing really well, #2 album and 120k odd opening week sales is very decent! With 'Breakout' and 'Time Of Our Lives' she had the HUGE HM following which is like half her audience. Parents will obviously not buy their little girls the CBT CD with the new image it is portraying! We would not want half of the USA's young girls running around being promiscuous would we? The lead single was anything but ideal to sell the album TBH!
