U.S. radio adores Miley! I still hear TC and PITUSA on an almost daily basis on radio here! The people at radio 1 in the UK just have some pathetic grudge against her, they never support her airplaywise and they just are forever slagging her on the sunday chart shows. If she had the radio 1 support in the UK she would most likely have had the amount of top 10 hits in the UK that she had in the US...

'Robot' is gorgeous :wub: It is one of the 6 11/10-rated songs on the album for me. But I agree with Jark, it has a very heavy harsh sounding chorus (which is why it is shuffled down to the lower end of the CBT track listing) much like Kelly Clarkson's 'Never Again' but that turned out to be a decent hit for Kelly but radio only supported it because it was the lead single from the largely anticipated follow-up to the huge 'Breakaway' era...

Obviously it exists it was her debut album :rolleyes: It was just like a transition album HM->Miley, it counted on the album charts everywhere else in the world but only the compilation in the UK because the UK has the most bizzare charts I mean The Fame Monster is technically Gaga's 2nd album but because its a double disc it counts to The Fame and then you get Miley's debut which counts as a compilation really makes no sense to me :S Why can't every album chart just be like the perfectly efficient BB200...

You can't say it's a flop (ALREADY :blink: ) by comparing it to her previous material! CBT was #1 on iTunes just like PITUSA and TC but has had significantly less airplay, it is only picking up now and will easily go Platinum ! CBT era was obviously a risk, and it is too early to tell if it has paid off because there is still a lot more singles and promo to come ! CBT is her 3rd highest peaking single to date, I think 'See You Again' peaked at #9 and '7 Things' at #10 and both were also lead singles! She is doing really well, #2 album and 120k odd opening week sales is very decent! With 'Breakout' and 'Time Of Our Lives' she had the HUGE HM following which is like half her audience. Parents will obviously not buy their little girls the CBT CD with the new image it is portraying! We would not want half of the USA's young girls running around being promiscuous would we? The lead single was anything but ideal to sell the album TBH!

I know I'm just worried the single version gets deleted now as a result and then she has a McFly/Atomic Kitten drop! Can you imagine how quickly the single would've fallen out of the chart if it was not for the album release, it would have had an even more LOL chart run than Selena Gomez had with 'Naturally' and Miley singles generally have really decent longevity bar 'Fly On The Wall' of course! COME ON MILEY WE LOVE YOU :cheer: ! I really hope CBT climbs at least one place on Sunday and sticks around longer than her other singles because it is so STUNNING. I LOVELOVELOVE it! Best thing she has ever released. <3 In the first line it sounds like she's saying 'for all of you losers' and not 'for all of you people' :P LOL got to love MILEY ! !

Miley fans better pray that CBT single version does not get deleted like on U.S. iTunes cause combined its at a decent #25 but if its deleted then she's out of the top 40 O.M.G. please NO! :drama:

It doesn't make any sense IMO, people say it's supposed to help the album but buying the album version of CBT doesn't contribute to album sales whatsoever. The two versions combined were CBT's saving grace because it was dropping really quickly with only 1 version. Don't think the album version rise all the way to the top 10 (where CBT was combined before the single version got deleted :cry: ) ! The last thing we need is for it to be deleted on UK iTunes as well because it is the only Miley song in the top 40 by the skin of its teeth at #39! And combined its around #25 !

OMG Miley is performing at the closing ceremony of the World Cup! :o I can only picture her performing 'Liberty Walk', that will fit in so well and be so epic! And if she released LW it will most likely win back her lost HM fans if it is accompanied with an inspirational music vid, LW definitely has the old Miley vibe and HM attitude to it so it has to be released!
