^ Not really, this type of music is what sells in the UK. She never really had the HM support base in the UK as she does in the US and if you visit her fan forums a lot of them are moaning about this new look she has and that they want HM back etc. But I think the album is gonna be a sleeper success, CBT the single is picking up airplay at last now and it is currently somewhere between #9 and #11 on US iTunes with all version combined so I would not be suprised if it returns to the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in a week or two and in the end sell Double Platinum like PITUSA, TC and SYA... Well I hope so because it is far superior!

^ Hopefully! :) Either 'Liberty Walk' or 'Stay' would make ideal 2nd and 3rd singles and then 'Permanent December' as the era closer! <3 Praying she re-releases the album next year with new material at least, I really don't want her to go back to acting ! ;( Her music is just too fantastic atm for her to sideline it ugh.

Anything originally inspired by Lady Gaga is obviously going to be in the bad books of music reviewers from the get-go anyway. I don't see the Gaga inspiration Miley stated anywhere on the album, the album is just more electro but still very Miley and teen-poppy. Its as if any new material that is electropop immediately gets compared to Lady Gaga's releases :rolleyes: The album is maybe a little generic but the quality and progression is brilliant

^^ "Stay" and "Liberty Walk" should be 2nd and 3rd singles IMO "Stay" is the best on the album <3 and the public seem to agree seeing it is by far the most cherry picked on the album. 'Two More Lonely People' is so AWFUL :puke2: I want to like it but I can't it's just SOO bad and like the only Miley song I have not liked since 'Breakout' (the song) which was comically painful to listen to, I even prefer 'Hoedown Throwdown' to this :lol:

If 'Stay' gets released I think it could do as well as 'The Climb' did, it is much much better as well Miley sounds a lot like Faith Hill on 'Stay' :wub:

You guys 'Stay' is SO stunning! Stop listening to 'Liberty Walk'/ 'Permanent December' etc for a while and listen to 'Stay' ! It is SO gorgeous :wub: better than 'The Climb' and 'When I Look At You' put together TBH! And I hardly find it generic as well (shock horror all pop ballads are automatically generic), the lyrics are breathtaking! The song is so deep and mature, it can be so huge in the same vein as Beyonce's 'Halo' ! It HAS to be the second single, it is the most cherrypicked on the album, can you imagine how much album sales it would bring if it was released ! 'Stay' is so epic, and to an extent - dark! And I definitely think it showcases Miley's progression in sound that she aims to portray with this era! I REALLY hope 'Stay' and 'Liberty Walk' are the 2nd and 3rd singles!

Oh my gosh releasing this is such a huge MISTAKE! :drama: It could even kill the whole era IMO, it is not even a twentyth as good as 'Liberty Walk', 'Who Owns My Heart' or 'Permanent December' ! ! You guys are misunderstanding, I referred to fans and the public guessing Blah Blah Blah was Ke$ha's second single and how that affected its overall success in the end as a comparison to the guessing and spreading all over the internet that this and that is Miley's second single. I was only making a friendly suggestion regarding the topic titles/merging thread, my suggestion and the single's success were not interrelated or anything as you guys seem to be interpreting :S

How rude :blink: I think Miley is extremely talented; she can sing, perform and act much better than a lot of artists (namely her bff @ #1 ATM, seeing we may not mention any names) and just because you do not like her does not mean you have to rally against her Shoat. Miley's PITUSA was so unlucky had all the vital promo been squeezed into one week and not so spread out as it was, it would have been top 5 easily! 'Can't Be Tamed' undeservedly robbed of top 10 by the sudden surge of world cup $h!t is also criminal and '7 Things' missing the top 20 because of being deleted from iTunes! Neither songs count as a flop I suppose but in comparison to their success in the U.S. where PITUSA, CBT and '7 Things' all went top 10 and Platinum at least - they do look like undeserved flops on paper in the UK. :(

It may be fun I suppose (but I find it extremely annoying :drama: ) and in the end it can even hurt the success of the single, I mean look what happened to Ke$ha and the success of her second single which peaked on speculation but neither TMLP or LW are blowing up on iTunes in the same way 'Blah Blah Blah' did so I guess it should not effect Miley

How is a blog or forum an official source? No matter the variety. That's called jumping on a band wagon, if it came out of Miley's mouth or was on her website/twitter then it counts as a reliable source. If you posted that info on Wikipedia with a blog or forum as a source then your post would be immediately be deleted with good reason.

If I had enough money I'd buy the album in one go but I used like all my credit on buying CBT single from all the download stores to help it go top 10 in its first week of release :heehee: So I guess I'll buy 'Stay' tomorrow to help it chart on Billboard
