  1. artist asking fans to buy their songs or make them number 1 it´s really old...it´s not shameful when the song is great(I remember wham´s wake me up before you go-go´s video, asking the fnas to buy the song, for example). but when the song is lame...
  2. The million mark being considered special has always been arbitrary, it just so happened that a fairly difficult sales mark to reach was also a nice round number. Not to mention that the million mark has always fluctuated in how difficult it is to achieve (in the mid-00s not even the absolute monster huge hits were able to get there, whereas even before streaming being included on the charts it was starting to become a slightly more routine milestone). How about just comparing the success of songs to other songs released in the same timeframe? :P

actually, until the finalpart of 1989-beginning of the 90s, a million singles sold was only certified gold, but during the 90s the market grew smaller and they changed the certification sistem (that´s why a lot of madonna hits from the 80s are not cerfied, because they didn´t achieved the million sales mark)

  3. one of the biggest artists of the 80s, phil collins, was also seen as a regular man, and it helped him,i guess it´s also helping ed.his success? he writes catchy songs that can please teenagers, people in their 20s and even parents, he has some catchy pop non-dangerous songs. and hislast album I think has been a brilliant idea, he is using other big names, so it´s not about himself all the time,so he avoids a backlash.and some songs are really catchy...and if they don´t work, you can´t even blame him!
  4. does somebody know michael bublé´s Love´s sales?

and Artic monkeys´tranquility base Hotel and casino´s? it´s surprising that a couple of their albums are in the most sold of the year chart, but their last album hasn´t sold enough to be there...I guess their followers prefair their old stuff

  5. No not really he did ask her about the sex book period , she said she didn't regret the book. He asked her what she thinks of today's female artists and she said she was happy to have opened the door for them.

Like u I expected him to refer back to the points made in the previous interview .

crap!!! that interview previewed everything is happening with the age thing, and she was really clear and smart!

  6. Yes I was in the audience . They repeat performances so both the artists and network are happy for it to be shown!

I can't express how amazing the performances were!! We will see a big climb In the iTunes Charts after this is aired!

did he ask her about her interview from 1992, the one where she talked about ageism???

  7. well, I´m sure they will release a song in july, with a video and some performances on Tv, and this will help the album to sell somethig more.Anyways, I donñt think the strategy is not working, all his fans know the album is out soon
