Have you heard Ronan Keating's Fires yet. Ken Bruce on Radio 2 played it this morning. back to form I think can't wait for the album now.

For the same reason that "Go West" is at No. 38!

Ok funny! I just hadn't seen the title confirmed anywhere yet thats all.

I meant the title, has the title been confirmed, I knew about the album I saw it on Twitter.

Wooooh They are taking themselves far to seriously there, anybody would think they were a real band instead of just a money making bussiness.

Its a little thing called TV promotion, they had a Boyzone Loose Women special today

I think they are just afraid of releasing a single and it not going top 10. They don't want to break their run. Its stupid because these days most acts find it difficult going top 10 with 2nd or 3rd single. Westlife are so predictable. One big single a year, promoted off the back of X Factor. Xmas album biggest time of the year for sales. Tour off the back of it, then a month in the studio with ready-to-record songs then back to X Factor in time for Xmas. Still if their fans are still happy with the format, then they aren't going to change it anytime soon.

Boyzone were number 1 on the 17th as well ;)

Its certainly no worse that the stuff thats been at number 1 in the singles chart since Xmas. If he released it here under a different name it would proberly do alright.

I know its the original at £3.99, but if you look on the HMV top 10 of the day on their site you will see that it is the original version of the album that is selling the most copies, and it has been for the last 3 weeks!

Here's me hoping that it goes exactly the same way as last week Mind you HMV selling her album for £3.99 for the last 3 weeks has certainly paid off for her.

Their audience is wider than you think, at their concerts the age span is quite incredible. I think they are doing well because each of them is so well known in their own right. With Keith on Corrie, Mikey on Dancing on Ice and Ronan doing various TV and Radio shows as well as having his solo career. Shane does is motor sport through out the summer. They also get involved with a lot of charity projects too, Ronan does a lot for Cancer and Keith with Autisim. So with everything they have been through last year with loosing Stephen I think the general public have just warmed to them. Which is why people pick up the album when they see it in the shops - that its a good album is a bonus, and word of mouth is helping to keep it selling. It is a great album and I really couldn't choose a favourite track because I love them all.

So no more singles from this album then according to Shane and Nicky.

Good to see that you are still loving Brother. I hear that Love Is A Hurricane is the next single (video shot on wednesday), not sure why the release schedule on this site is saying Seperate Cars, I suspect that may be the 3rd single.

Happy to see Boyzone at number 1 in the album chart, I just hope that Lady Ga Ga don't pip them come Sunday :rolleyes:

Ahhh but he has yet to "come out" you know there is always at least one gay boyband member, could this be the next "shock" instore for Take That :naughty:

Nope! Jedward have made a return to the top. Boyzone slips to 2, but their album has gone in @ no.1 Gorillza are at no.4.

Much love for the Boyz this week - it is a really good album, its been on a loop since I got it on Friday. :wub:

I'm hoping my copy comes tomorrow, I don't want to illegally download it, I want to wait untill I have the whole thing in my hands! The messages in the booklet are suposed to heart wrenching.

Any idea what kind of lead Boyzone have over The GORILLAZ, looks like its going to be a tough fight next week with all those strong releases.

Its a shame, because if it had got the same kind of airplay that it gets in Ireland, it could have been a completely different story.
