I'm hoping my copy comes tomorrow, I don't want to illegally download it, I want to wait untill I have the whole thing in my hands! The messages in the booklet are suposed to heart wrenching.

The problem with Better was that it was a download only, Boyzone have always been strong on physical sales, the record company's fault, they should give the fans what they want. ;) I just hope they can remain in the top 10 on Sunday. They have done really well considering no main chart stations are even playing it :angry: They have a ITV special on the 21st of March, they are performing Gave It All Away with Mika!

Any idea what kind of lead Boyzone have over The GORILLAZ, looks like its going to be a tough fight next week with all those strong releases.

Nice to see Boyzone still holding up. They are officially number 1 in Ireland today though which is nice!

Perhaps thats the answer, Boyzone should put out another 3 versions of the same song, seems like the way to do it these days

Its a shame, because if it had got the same kind of airplay that it gets in Ireland, it could have been a completely different story.

There would have been a fan revolt if they had not used this song as the first single. Having listened to the tracks on the album there are many there that they could have lead with instead, but I think they would have upset Stephen's fans, it would have been as if they had forgotten him. Stephen's fans were angry that they didn't put is picture on the front cover of the album. They did the right thing - their fans understand why they did what they did and thats all thats important.

I think that is the main reason why Heart, Capital and the rest of the Global stations aren't playing it. Capital were all set to play it and then the week after Ronan joined Magic they didn't. Heart not only didn't play the new single, but took off all of Ronan and Boyzone's songs from their playlists. Radio politics :angry:

Its impossible to compete with the other songs if you don't get any airplay, its not a level playing field. In Ireland their airplay has been much, much better and they are out selling everyone.

Just noticed their video is at number 2 - does that count towards the charts?

Well the official video has had almost 400,000 hits on youtube and was top 5 favourited on music, so there could be more interest than airplay seems to reflect. I hope they go top 10 at least, to have a shot at number 1 would be fantastic. I'm just hoping that the album does well because listening to the amazon clips it sounds like a good one so it deserves it.

Wow! Amy Mcdonald did well this week, I hope she is not going to beat Boyzone on the albums. Also, what has happened to Ellie's album I thought she was going to do well next week.

The only other track that Stephen is on is the last one Stronger. So its nice that he starts and finishes the album.

Maybe because they are not doing well on the album pre-release chart. It will be quite a though week anyway, with the fact that it is also Mother's Day that weekend there will be higher sales of all the MOR albums for the mums, so maybe they think it will be easier the following week. They will want the album to go top 10 at least.
