Boyzone's single has done well considering it was only put on HMV on Wednesday, there has been no radio airplay yet either. Its out on the 1st of March not the 8th though. Any idea where there album is on pre-release?

Ronan may also be involved in another Eurovision song for Denmark too. He mentioned in an interview on a Dutch TV show that when they wrote Believe Again they also wrote 2 other tracks and now one of those is being put to the vote in Denmark.

Their overall sales are about the same, RK debuted higher @ no.12 on the chart

Just to let you know that Gary and his wife attended Ronan Keatings Emerald and Ivy Ball in London last night. One of the hightlights of the evening was when Gary joined Ronan on stage with a fantastic duet of Back For Good. The crowd loved it. I went to the recording of this last Friday. Beverly did a great performance along with a full choir. The show will be shown on the 18th of November. Its hard to believe what can happen in a week. Friday night Ronan was laughing and joking with Amanda and the rest of the acts including Beverly, and the next day his whole world changed. I don't know whether you know but Beverly was good friends with Stephen Gately and she attended his funeral yesterday. :(

According to Louis Walsh their new album is due out in March to coincide with Mother's Day!

From today's Daily Star: Will Young has announced the release of his first greatest hits compilation. The 30 year old is the only British male artist of the decade to have 4 consecutive platinum albums LRN, YG and all Wills classics will be sandwiched in the package out November 16th Now I have a sneaky feeling they have forgotten about our Rob :o I'm sure that he has out sold Will Young this decade :D

Its hardly surprising, there were only 3 new songs on it, and it was their 3rd Greatest Hits album. By Request sold 2million copies in the UK, so there can't be many fans that didn't have a copy already. I think a new studio album with new songs will be completely different. So long as they get the lead single right of course Ronan's been busy, 2 solo albums this year, plus a Boyzone one for 2010.

Its Mother's Day next week, so there is a good chance that Ronan will have 3rd week at number 1 next week

Ronan was ahead of the Pet Shop Boys into day's midweeks by 3000 copies, are you saying that they have now over taken him on todays sales?

Its not being officially released as a single. This album was a one-off project, it was just down to the radio stations what song they would play for promotion. Ronan is working on a new Boyzone album for an October release.

I would have been interesting to see how many copies Ronan could have sold this week had the shops not run out. I went to 3 different places today including HMV and they had none left at all. Amazon ran out on monday.

Poor Gary, it must be really horrible for him :( If he has to pull out the press will be all over him knowing what they are like :angry: . I have been following the whole thing on Radio 1 and also at the Red Nose Climb site its certainly a lot tougher than most people would imagine, its certainly not a walk in the park. I wonder how the girls from Girls Aloud are really, they have hardly done any of the videos or interviews with the radio and TV although if you read the newspapers you'd think they were the only ones on the mountain :rolleyes: . I have met him several times and he really is a gentleman. A few years back he went through a really tough time, his mum was going through cancer and died and I don't think he coped with the fame and the grief. Also a year or two ago his father inlaw also went through and lost his life to cancer. So to base an oppinion on someone on a one off meeting doesn't really reflect the whole person. It really depends on the circumstances of the actual meeting. I know he also doesn't like giving out photos and autographs when he is spending time with his children.

I hear that it is also number 1 on iTunes and number 5 on airplay - the Danes really take Eurovision to their hearts :cheer:
